The League Room is truly one of Parkersburg's hidden treasures. The owners Chris and Jamie Wilson go above and beyond daily to provide a place for the local, and some not so local pool players to have the best equipment around to play on. The things being provided at the room go way beyond just pool, for example beyond the good equipment they also provide cue maintenance such as cue tip replacements and some lathe work. Also Chris provides table recovering and table repairs + sales in house and locally if you include a 6 state radius locally. The "Arena" is also part of the Wilson family designs. In the Arena folks can enjoy axe throwing and the entire room can be rented along with the bar and Chris's DJ services for party's and get together's. The newest addition to the room is "Jaybe's" it's a sports bar with a twist, each booth has it's own TV for patrons to enjoy their sporting events weather it is billiards related or not, football, basketball, soccer what ever ball you enjoy seeing pushed around you can view it at your table while you dine. All that I've mentioned is under one roof, SO, if you didn't know, now you know tell a friend and go enjoy all The League Room has to offer. Support local. You'll be...
Read moreThe League Room is an awesome place. It’s what I call a light bar they serve a few different brands of beer and like mikes hard Lemonade and a few other things. Their food is awesome a little high priced but very good they don’t have a big selection of different foods but enough that just about anyone can find something to eat they sale pop also. You can pay to play pool by the hour or by the game. They have a bunch of pool tables they was having a big tournament last night while I was there and we had went with a group of like 8 people and they still had two tables open that we all played pool on all evening. The staff is friendly but they are very busy. They also have other stuff than shooting pool. They have Axe throwing, cornhole boards, pool tables, and food and beer and there is no age limit on who is allowed in. They allow kids also and have kids gaming room also. It’s very decent place they don’t have people falling down drunk everywhere and stuff. We had a really good time and will definitely be going there more. My pictures don’t show how massive this building is and no where near how many pool tables are...
Read moreWhat a fantastic spot. Now, I knew nothing of this place when I went for the first time so I tried to order a vodka cranberry, turns out they do not serve alcohol. By doing this, kids can also attend this establishment and I think that's pretty nice. They've had a couple events for charities and raising funds for cancer treatments, all around its a great place. If you're like me and get nervous at new places, i was initially overwhelmed by everything going on in there but just go up to the bar area and ask the server, they'll be able to help you out. Music, pool, beer, food. . . Add a couple friends and I promise you'll have fun for hours. If I remember correctly, you pay by the...
