Livery Studio — Local services in Pasadena

Livery Studio is the best co-working space I've ever tried, and it's because of the care and dedication from the owners, Michael and Yvonne. The location is awesome -- easy parking, walking distance from restaurants, a park, and the metro station. The space is clean and well-maintained, I could always find a seat, an outlet, and could easily take my meetings in the phone booths or with my headphones. And everyone is so friendly, I met so many interesting people and even some potential clients and collaborators. So many creatives, entrepreneurs, and small business owners, it's a great vibe.

I'm a freelance artist and filmmaker, and I typically work from home, but when construction noise made that virtually impossible, I was desperate to find a quiet, reliable, and affordable work environment.

WeWork seemed to be too busy and at capacity, so I gave Livery Studio a call, after comparing a few other boutique coworking spots nearby. Yvonne immediately picked up the phone and said I could come in that day, for a free day pass on them. I signed up for the $275/mo coworking membership. While they sometimes have events downstairs, they always grant us access to the upstairs/dedicated desk spaces, which feels like getting a free upgrade! Yvonne and Michael have been nothing but generous, considerate, and accommodating -- I really enjoyed seeing them every time I came in.

Alas, I've since moved and am riding the ebb and flow of life, so it makes financial sense for me to cancel my membership and come in with the day passes on an as-needed basis. However, I hope to come back one day to rent out the space for an event, or to rent one of the offices as my business grows :)

Livery is truly one of a kind!

My wife and I were looking for local coworking options in Pasadena and stumbled upon Livery. We were walking through Central Park in Pasadena one day and noticed it next to the fire station. After being weirdo's and peeking through the window, we both decided we should contact them to see if we could check out the space for a day!

I emailed them via the contact form on their website to see if we could get a trial day. Yvonne (co-owner with her husband) very quickly messaged me back saying they would be more than happy to host my wife and I for the day!

First off, I just want to say that Yvonne and her husband were super cool! They showed us around the space, gave us some snacks and coffee, and told us that the space was created, owned and operated by them! Truly a power couple!

While having great owners is a huge plus, it would all be for nothing if the space didn't deliver though, right? Well, let me tell you! This space is incredible! They have gone over and above to make sure that every little detail is designed to give you an incredibly productive work day.

The kitchen is nice and spacious, the work space is clean, bright and comfortable and the space in general is oozing with charm. Yes ooozzzzing! It is extremely apparent to me that this work space is a labor of love!

I literally could fill another 3 paragraphs about the merits of this place, but I won't. Instead, I'll leave you with this. This coworking space has to be one of the best I have visited in Pasadena! I found the Livery Studio while searching for a reasonably priced banquet room in the Pasadena area to host my mother's memorial reception. I am so glad that I discovered it because it was much better than any traditional banquet room could have ever been. I had never planned an event before and to have this be my first experience with it was even more stressful than I could ever imagine. Yvonne and Michael were very compassionate and understanding of the difficulty I was having planning such an event. Yvonne accommodated every request I made, including several scheduling changes. Michael was at the event to help make sure everything ran smoothly and also to help with hosting duties and clean-up at the end. All of the guests were very impressed with the space and the kindness of our host(s). For those reasons, many of them expressed interest in having their future events at the Livery Studio.
