This post is solely based on the associate, Nohely and her amazing customer service. I will first start by saying I am a manager in the retail industry, so I can identify exceptional customer service and associate, and that is Nohely. She is everything I expect from my own associates.
Now, onto me. Yes, I work in retail, so I know how difficult the month of December is as the foot traffic is crazy in the stores and customers aren't always patient; especially on December 24th, Christmas Eve, which brings me to my experience and pleasure of speaking to Nohely.
Earlier in the month I had taken my jewelry in to be cleaned and polished, and I was missing one bracelet when I got them back. I didn't think anything of it, because I also had repairs, and I assumed it was in that set for me to pick up another day. By Christmas Eve I realized it wasn't in the repair set, so I called the store and spoke to Nohely, who was so kind and helpful to ease my stress of possibly losing my precious bracelet. She took the time to investigating the situation and assured me not to worry, because she was going to make sure to find it for me no matter what. Bear in mind, this is Christmas Eve, so the stores are extra busy with last minute shoppers, and as a person in retail I know commission is most imperative on a day like that, but that wasn't the concern for Nohely, her concern was in helping me find my missing item and easing my stress. With her inquisitive investigative skills, exceptional care of her customer, she successfully found my missing bracelet and advised me on what to do next since it wasn't cleaned or polished with the rest of my items. I was so relieved for it to be found, I told her I was going to send someone right away to get it because I didn't want to risk anything to happen again. She assured me once again she was going to keep it in safekeeping until someone came to get it from her.
I love Tiffany & Co., and I shop there a lot, which is why I had a lot of jewelry I had taken in to be cleaned and polished. Although losing my bracelet was not going to stop me from shopping at Tiffany & Co., this particular location was going to be crossed off, but due to Nohely's exceptional customer service, I will only come to this location and purchase from Nohely. Read moreOn 6/3/22 I purchased a 16 inch heart shape necklace. I called to extend the item on 7/2/22 with no intention to return or exchange..but to add links. I was voluntold I was out of the exchange/return period. That was lie #1. I still went into store to repair the necklace. I wear my necklace everyday!! So, when I came in, a series of events occurred. 1) found out my necklace was .5 -1 inch shorter than the advertised 16 inch. Which explains why the necklace was uncomfortable at times and did not sit right. 2) I was OFFERED an exchange by the associate. The exchange would have been an $800 necklace that i would have paid the difference for. When she stated that another associate would assist further, she came back to say the exchange would not be honored because of the deep scratches and damage to the necklace in the 28 days it's been in my possession. Big laughs on my end because this is not my only piece of jewelry from Tiffany's. I have 4 pieces actually with 1 dating back 15yrs where the engraving was non existent. Same location re-engraved the piece and returned it looking as if I had just purchased it from one one of their cases. They decided to comp me for the resizing at the cost of $120..same cost as the exchange would have been. Then I was told my necklace was discontinued. So, although the associate was very helpful and kind, I was left to feel as though I was not treated equally at this point. Maybe it was my crocs, but it did not feel as though this was handled the same way (dare I say it) if it were someone else. Anything to be resold would have to be sent in and cleaned for sanitary reasons i would assume. Was I not expected to wear it from date of purchase. Deep scratches lol...what is engraving then?
