Walgreens — Local services in Pascagoula

I’m so disappointed with the Walgreens in Pascagoula, MS. The Pharmacy Department fielded half of my prescription, in which I paid my full co-pay. I called later to get the other half of my prescription for the month, and they wanted to charge me another copay. Why did you put my meds back! If you knew, I would have to pay again. No one called me to say that my medications were ready. I think it is unfair for me to pay another copay. Medications cost too much even with insurance. Doesn’t even deserve one star. Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I was told my Rx would be ready within an hour of when it was sent from the Dr.’s yesterday. Called in to confirm last night and was told it was not, that they were just working on it, a half hour before closing. Figured it SHOULD be ready today, so I went today instead. Sat outside on the drive through line for damn near an hour and still didn’t get my medication. Either they’re remedial or just don’t care, either way if you value your health do NOT use this pharmacy to fill you Rx, you won’t get it til next year, if you get it at all. In the pharmacy it self where they dispatch the meds, they have some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. Very incompetent, there is always problems on how the fill the prescription, i don’t know how the manage to make a 120 pill prescription to 8 pills and in several occasions i have had to wait extra because they want to bill me with out using my insurance. Many times its a staggering amount $$ then im like what happened why did the insurance did not cover it? Ohh? Please wait... 10-15 min later yes its $20 im like the insurance was on your file the whole time... very displeased...
