I called to order a drain hose for my dishwasher. I carefully explained to the Central Appliance representative that the hose I needed was the one that ran from the machine to the disposal (outside the dishwasher itself). I even advised her that I had spoken with the manufacturer and was told that parts outside the dishwasher would need to be obtained from a local appliance or hardware store. I gave her the model number and she said that she located the part and could order it for me. She charged my credit card and told me that I would receive a text when the part came in. I received the text Friday afternoon and drove to Pascagoula to pick it up. When I arrived at around 3:30, I saw that the hose she ordered was a smaller internal hose. One of her installers was working at the store and I described to him the part I was looking for. He opened one of the dishwashers sitting on the floor and pulled out the exact hose I needed. I asked if I could pay the difference, if there was any, and take one of those hoses instead of the one that was incorrectly ordered. The representative calked the owner and told me that she said no. The reason given was that someone may want to buy the dishwasher before they could get a replacement hose delivered. I could understand that if I had walked in off the street and asked to buy one of those hoses, but, I had ordered and prepaid for a part that her employee had incorrectly ordered. I drove to Pascagoula to pick it up and now was going to have to wait several days for a part before I could move my dishwasher out of the middle of my kitchen. I seriously doubt Central Appliance would sell, and need to install, all of their dishwashers after 3:30PM on a Friday. They closed in less that two hours. Decent customer service would have been to take care of my situation since it was caused by their employee’s mistake. I was willing to pay whatever the price was for the drain hose. So yeah, I got hosed here and...

Admendment on my review of Central Appliances: three days later after installation of my refrigerator, we noticed the icemaker was making ice. I immediately called Central Appliances and schedule an appointment with the service tech to come out that following Thursday I was told about service tech that the fan motor was going out in the icemaker which causes, the icemaker not to produce ice will be $140 service charge and 300 and change for the refrigerator that I just purchased four days ago things take a turn at this moment we went in the store. The lady told us that the refrigerator was a demo. We had no problem with that, but we asked them to plug the refrigerator up twice I had reservations of the may or may not work .we wanted to make sure that everything worked as it should before we took it out because it was understood that it was a demo . But, they reassured us that it worked the week before we came in to purchase the refrigerator and everything worked as it should i’ve been calling him to get a revolution until this day. I have haven’t got received a call back. I received one call back but I was sleep and then I would call them back , but I have no resolution to this problem so I’m stuck with refrigerator that doesn’t make ice ,service call cost me 143.00 ,and 300.00 for a fan motor for my refrigerator to make ice. We will never purchase anything else from Central Appliances . We have attached a picture of the icemaker showing That it...
Read moreBe careful with this business they didn’t diagnose my dryer correctly. The tech told me, my wires were chewed and it was $500 to fix the wire harness. So I went to the showroom and bought a new dryer. The ladies in the showroom are very nice and knowledgeable about the products. The new dryer Got delivered and I started using it, right away. And low behold the new dryer acted the same as the old dryer. I called and I told them I wanted my old dryer back and asked to see the pictures of the wires that were supposedly chewed by some rodent and all he could provide was a picture of the lint , dust and some droppings and as you can see the housing is still in tact . I was told my old dryer was already taken to scrap. Then Mr Josh came to do a quote for a new HVAC system and found that the circuit breaker was no good. I went to speak with owner about this issue. For I never had to buy a new dryer in the first place. I wanted my service fee back and the cost of my dryer which was only 4 years old. After speaking with the owner Destin Anderson he would not budge on any compensation for this matter. Unfortunately I will have to do some legal proceedings and after I told him I was going to my lawyer and as I was walking out he said well that’s going to be a $2500 retaining fee…Merry Xmas. I will never recommend them to anyone. So please be careful with...
