Mac Glass LLC — Local services in Paterson

This is an update to my previous five-star review from four years ago, which I have included below:

Four years after MacglassIlc installed shower doors in my NYC apartment, I called them for shower doors for my house in Westchester. Manny, the owner, responded more quickly than any other vendor would. In fact, throughout the whole process, Manny was always remarkably responsive. After Manny himself came to my home to measure, within two weeks they were ready to install, and he sent the nicest, most respectful and professional installers who did a GREAT job, and cleaned up afterward like they were never there. In summary, you should call these guys. They're the best, and have been since they installed for me four years ago!

These guys are great! I own an apartment in NYC, but live far away from there. We were doing a renovation of the bathroom in the apartment right before the COVID lockdown. When our contractor was ready to have shower doors installed, I asked him for a recommendation, and he gave me the name of MacGlass. I reached out to them and they immediately responded, which is how they operate — very efficiently. I’m not even sure if I ever spoke with anyone there by phone. Virtually all communication was by text, and they ALWAYS responded quickly, comprehensively and courteously. As for their work, it was outstanding. They gave thoughtful input to help with my decision-making along the way, providing illustrations of what they were communicating. They did the work on time and under budget. My only regret in working with them is that I never got the chance to thank them in person! I was worried at the outset, because I wasn’t on-site, and in NYC there’s so much demand for tradespeople that they are often surly, hard to track down and unreliable in their execution. Imagine how I felt when these guys delivered seamlessly and with high quality, even though I was far away....

Macglassllc was amazing with the repair of my glass and iron front door. I had trouble finding someone who was willing and able to fix the cracked glass pane (the pane was hit by a rock by my landscaper). It had been broken for almost a year because it has been so difficult to find someone able to fix it, but Macglassllc was amazing! I called, they were super responsive. I sent pictures and schematics from the door manufacturer. When the technicians arrived at my house, they took some time to assess the door and the glass. They took their time to carefully inspect what they were working with and checked in with me regularly. They informed me of the risks involved with completing the fix and also informed me that the fix would be more expensive than the original estimate, but for good reason. We gave the approval to go ahead with the fix and it turned out flawlessly. The team did a great job and we couldn't be happier. They did a great job.
