This is one of my favorite little spots to find hidden Gem’s. They have a huge selection of tools, paint, spray paint, specialty home, lawn and garden items. They a clearance bin that always seems to have just what you were looking for and one of a kind prizes if you search long enough. They have an app that always seems to have a coupon for a good deal. They will beat competitors prices. If you can find it cheaper and show them they will match the price!!! They make the best wheel barrels on the market! They also have a huge selection of individual priced screw, nuts, and washers. They have every single variety ever made!!! You will find the match to your mate. They also have a selection of children’s toys and swimming pools and small locally sourced adventure items. The toys range from vintage to modern. They also have the most advanced technology on the market for paint. They will match your color guaranteed or they will cover the cost to fix. They have a small engine repairer who works on site. They will repair any old tool by any company out there. They did take over Sears after all and Craftsman comes with a warranty on all tools that guarantees they work or they will repair for free. The small engine repair team will repair those old craftsman tools from Grandpa for free no warranty in hand needed. Great experience points for new entry’s looking to work on earning small engine mechanics. They will fix all craftsman tools or they will sign the...
Read moreAbsolutely no customer service. There wasn't anyone around or on the floor anywhere. I had questions in the paint department, but no one there to ask! No one around to even ask if there was someone to help me. I ended up doing my best in selecting some paint, brushes and sandpaper. When I got near the registers, the gal behind the counter was coughing and hacking. Thankful she had a mask on...oh, but wait, she was pulling it off, then on, rearranging it. So here she's putting her hands all over the mask she was just coughing on! And then she touches all the products I was buying and handing me the receipt. But the best part: no hi, or hello, how are you? No, its: do you have an ace reward number? After she's done with my order, there is no comments to say even ' thank you' or have a nice day! This gal needs to review the Ace hardware training tapes on customer service that she should of completed prior to starting the job!!! If I was a mystery shopper this place would of got a zero!!! The only comment or engagement I had for this first time visit was: do you have an Ace reward number!!! Shocking! Otherwise, total silence minus coughing and hacking!!! Next time I will go to Home Depot. After all there is no expectations for anyone helping you there. I mean their TV commercials don't claim they're the "place with helpful...
Read moreStopped at Ace Hardware & Nursery today. Ron was the employee who assisted me, he is very knowledgeable about the store and it's products. He shared with me he has been at Ace for 14 year's. He's been through 2 owners and several managers. He still there. He is my new go to guy at Ace. Ace has there employees take classes for example how to put together and use an outdoor grill. They are online classes which the company pays the employee for there time. Wow...Go Ace. Obviously Ron is very proud of the company and his boss. More photos to come.
Update 4/3/19 Went to see Ron today @ Paul's Ace Hardware and he told me they are the official and ONLY distributor of Stihl chainsaws and equipment. Also they have a Stil technician on site. At all times, to fix and adjust equipment. They also receive training in the Valley on a regular basis. So any questions just ask. Blessings, John
