My INITIAL reviews about this place said things like: Ev is the best! He remembers what I like & makes great recommendations, too! 10/10....OHHHHHH how much things have changed in just a year or so! Many of the knowledgeable & friendly budtender folks quit, the culture shifted drastically & THE VIBE has been replaced with Dutch Bros-like corporate teenagers who rudely ask you your life story and call you sweetie, honey, etc & don't know anything about weed except to push what they've been told to sell. This location still has a ton of flower and high quality products, more than others, but only the older OG's (for example Nicole, Cherrie) know anything about what they're selling. You can sometimes avoid the inquisition by going through the drive-thru. Brace yourself, even at the drive-thru some staff will still behave with less professionalism than a bikini coffee stand & not be able to answer your questions. A totally normal experience: you get interrogated about your personal life but no mention of specials or new products, you get called honey relentlessly & condescendingly by a stranger, you're pressured into buying their crappiest expired edibles and flower, no one can explain the pricing, and when you do leave a tip in their box it's awkwardly ignored. You can ask me if I was born here or my plans for the weekend, but you can't say thanks if I put $$ in your tip box in front of your very eyes? The older original folks are kept in the corners but they're still there if you need help. The door guys are very cool. Jars still has a better selection and pricing than anywhere else for miles, which is probably what's happening here, we have no other choice based on service. Jars used to be so great! Bring back the knowledgeable &...
Read moreTonight, 9/3 at around 8:20pm I had a bad experience with someone named “Flowers.” Not sure if she was having a bad night or what. I’ve never been treated so terribly at jars before, I’m a little disappointed. My order was very simple so unsure what the problem was. I always order a couple disposables and some pre rolls so I guess my presence as a customer was bothering them? “Flowers” didn’t let me finish ordering at the speaker box, so I asked for my pre rolls at the window and apparently that was an issue for her. The bad attitude and eye rolling and rushing me for no reason. Plus, the snarky and dirty looks from the other two employees behind her, one male one female whom I’ve never seen there before. Made me feel like I was doing something wrong. Get rid of them, Jars. I’m still unsure what the issue was. Maybe if she was polite at the speaker box and asked if I needed anything else instead of rushing me through, and there was no other customers behind me, I wouldn’t have had to order my pre rolls at the window? It’s not that deep, didn’t deserve the treatment. These few employees should probably find new jobs outside customer service and definitely outside of Jars because I’ve always been treated so wonderfully by the staff. Especially Josh, that guy is great. I’m just still so confused why I deserved bad treatment when she was disgruntled from the start and I was completely polite. Calling me Hun while rolling her eyes at me was a...

Jars in Payson is a breath of fresh mountain air for anyone looking for top-shelf cannabis and genuinely good vibes. From the moment you walk in, the staff is welcoming, clean, and low-key. No pressure, no weird energy. Just chill, knowledgeable folks who actually care.
Big shoutout to Laura, my budtender, who absolutely made the experience. She's the kind of person who listens first, gives solid recommendations without the upsell, and knows her products inside and out. Whether you're new to cannabis or a longtime fan, she'll meet you where you are with kindness and clarity.
The selection is great. Flower, edibles, concentrates, and gear are all well displayed and constantly updated. Prices are solid, and the daily deals stack up fast.
What really makes this place shine is the people. You can tell the team enjoys what they do. Laura’s energy sealed the deal. I left with exactly what I needed and a smile on my face.
If you're heading through Payson, Jars is worth the stop. Be sure to say...
