Just moved to Payson and our first attempt to attend the pool with our family was disappointing. The young gal at the front admissions office was CLUELESS. We brought an awning for shade and asked if we were allowed to bring it in and she said āI donāt knowā. I would assume if you didnāt know you would go find out, but that was the answer we were stuck with. It gets betterā¦.then she literally asked if I had a plastic pen to sign with for the card transaction. Like, let me pull one out of my back pocketā¦.seriously? Then she let us know our potty trained 3 year old would need a diaper. We didnāt have one causeā¦..ummmā¦.sheās potty trained. So we left. I looked on the website after we left and it says you can get a free diaper upon request. Why upon request? How am I suppose to know if I donāt check out the website first? Apparently losing the admission cost for a family of 6 is less expensive than offering the one lousy diaper. Whoās running...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy kids ages 2-5 had tons of fun here. It is kind of small but they do have lots of chairs/seating. The soap in the bathroom smells pretty bad. Every couple of hours they have everyone get out of the pool for like ten minutes or so to check the water and empty trashes and stuff. I liked that they do that because it made it a lot easier to get my kids to leave with out crying, because everyone was getting out of the pool. They have a rule that ALL kids 4 and under must wear a swim diaper AND plastic pants over the diaper. The lazy river has a pretty good current that keeps you moving, it is pretty big though so if you get separated from your kids it can be hard to get back to them. Going here was over all a good experience and I plan to visit again and would recommend this pool to anyone looking for a fun place to take kids 10 and under. I think this pool would probably be boring...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is awesome; took the kids here and could largely let them play while I watched from a comfortable distance. The lazy river is great, the kid's slide/splash pad/playset is literal hours of fun.
Issues- bruh, you guys need some more shade; sitting in the sliver of shade next to the bathrooms is not ideal.
The overall size was probably good a few years ago, but with the growth in Payson and the surrounding area, it felt a bit like wading around in human soup.
48 inches minimum height for those slides?? Cmon, man! Let the kids play, ref!
Overall, it was great, and we'll definitely visit again next time we're in town. Just get some sunshades and lower the height requirement (or get taller slides and better insurance to cover the liability exposure, or maybe a waiver form or something), and it'll be...
