Lazy J meats, My apologies for not leaving a review earlier. I had the intention but life end up happening and I got complacent.
I got a 1/2 share beef. 2 1/2 month old air but totally worth it. I saw their post on instagram one day and the gentleman was take about price. $3.15 per pound back in March 24. I put an order in and in June of 24my order was ready. My lil brother and pick up two very large coolers and drove down. The guys working were Bad Ass! Good folk if you catch my meaning. Solid and straight shooting kind of people. My 1/2 share yielded me just a little over 400lbs. The total price after everything said and done came out to around $1,700 They helped me load everything up. I did a little research in the northern Utah area and Lazt J meats prices I felt were very fair. I’ve a few other butcher shops and their prices are very close to double that. So I was very content with purchase.
Honestly there was so much meat my 7’ fr deep freeze couldn’t hold it all, I had to give some of it to close friends and some family. They LOVED it. Between the steaks & roasts and hamburgers we’ve had enough to square us away for the summer and damn near the fall. I still have 1/2 freezer left and we damn near have eaten something every week.
Next I’m going in for a full share on a hog. Last time checked it was going for around $400.00
I just want to say God Bless y’all at Lazy J. Y’all are a God send. Thx again for everything. I’m looking forward to doing more...
Read moreWe ordered from Lazy J Meats and were very satisfied by how good everything was - the ribeye, filet mignon, new york strip, sirloin, tri-tip, brisket, chuck roast, and ground beef were all phenomenal. You can really tell this meat comes directly from a high-quality rancher who truly cares about their animals and their craft. The difference in flavor, texture, and freshness is incredible. As much as We love eating steak at a restaurant the quality here is beyond what you get at most steakhouses, brazillian churrascos or at the grocery store.
My family said it was the best steak they’ve ever had, and I agree. Buying direct from the rancher not only supports local american agriculture but also gives you a product that is grass-fed, more nutrient dense, more flavorful and healthier.
Highly recommend Lazy J Meats to anyone who loves exceptional beef and wants to know exactly where it comes from. Great quality, great value, and great people behind the product. We’ll definitely be ordering again from...
Read moreSo I'm going to share on the comment to the guy stayed that he wishes there was a no-star review so anyways I've been a butcher for over 25 years and for somebody to say that these guys don't know how to cut up meet is incorrect because professional meat cutters knows that yes there is bones in your roast unless you request and specifically boneless roast there are bones insteaks unless you request a different type of steak so there are several different cuts on a beef you have to be very specific on what type of cut you want if you do not specify the cuts then therefore it will be cut up regular and therefore most of your steaks will have bones most of your roast will have bones very few will be boneless just wanted to share that and I would say they are these guys are excellent butchers journeyman and they have actually Incorporated more different cuts than most butcher shops do so that's why they are a 10...
