Usually have a great experience here, until last week. Sometimes slow service but try to give decent priced good food, however not all the options are on the menu. Tried to force me to throw away food. Last week I was trying to surprise my husband. Tostada NOT on the menu at all, or the picture, so I tried to ask if they still had it. The lady (A) told me yes they still had it so I ordered it, (she didn't say anything about 2 different kinds, one that was not avaliable). Great service, I thought. Got home, discovered it was not the tostada wrap that he wanted. Went back, someone else (B) came to the counter. Some confusion and I clarified I wanted the Tostada wrap. She notified me it was promotional, no longer a sign, and they didn't have it. I told her that the tostada I got was not on the sign at all either. A worker (C) came and said they would be willing to make me one, reassured me they could do that for me, and went back to the prep area. I sat down to wait, as another customer approached. The lady at the counter (B) asked for the meal that I had got so she could throw it away. I was confused and we went back and forth until she demanded I give it to her. So I clarified "I can have the tostada wrap for free if I give this one to you to throw away?" Yes. I thought it was so stupid so I just stared at her dumbfounded. I said no so she walked away frustrated. It's not my fault they don't have everything available on the menu. She came back and asked if I was going to pay or give her the mistaken meal so I paid and told her it didn't...

Needed Repairs (Negative Review): There are two negative issues with the Payson, Utah franchise; #1). extremely narrow unsafe (drive-up window) access. #2). The resturant location makes it inconvenience and not accessible for high volume freeway traffic. • (Drive-Up Window) has extremely unsafe narrow width of space for vehicles to use. The restaurant must have been built when outdated building code requirements/ordinances and fire/safety laws did not require businesses having a drive-up window to have safe measurements requiring a limited number of feet for customers staying inside their vehicles using drive-up window. In fact, you can see numerous visible scuff marks where vehicles have side-swiped the fence running parallel to the building, including marks on the cement curb, wooden/plastic telephone transformer box, & power pole. • (Location Inconvenient & Outdated) Unfortunately, this store is not close to the busiest business areas of Payson. Hopefully, the Taco Time franchise will one day soon build a new restaurant in the shopping center areas, next to I-15 freeway exit. This would gain “tens-of-thousands” more customers each year and could increase Taco Time sales 100%+ yearly just by being located in the heaviest shopping districts and greatest traffic flow area of Payson near Walmart and the ever growing business...
Read moreWhy can't I start a new post on this page - do they not want to hear the truth? Here is my truth with this place and I really don't like doing this, but I am so disgusted with Taco Time in Payson, Ut. I go back a couple of times a year {because I love the stuffed mexi fries) hoping they have straightened their issues out, but they never fail to show me I have wasted my time and money again. I don't know why I bother and won't do it again. Today I ordered a large stuffed mexi fry with an extra ranch, a bean burrito and an iced tea. I get home and check my food (I know, I should have checked it before I left there). My 'stuffed' mexi fry was tator tots, I didn't get the extra ranch they charged me .46 for. I drive back over there, go inside and the young man at the counter acts like it is my fault the guy took the order wrong. Then he charged me another $2 to correct the order. I told him they should eat the $2 since I had to pay the gas to go home and back again. He completely ignored me. I found my burrito exploded in the wrapper when I got home the second time (I know I should have checked it the first time), there was more sauce in the bean burrito then there was beans and by time I got home again it was cold. I think I have finally learned my lesson and won't...
