Of course I am a tourist here (naturally). I asked to use the restroom and I was told "there's one across the street." Uhm... okay, so I cross a heavily populated highway, just so I can pee after a long day of traveling. I then come back and find a gorgeous painting ... I was in love!!! I brought the picture to the counter and informed the lady working, there was no price on the item. She was rude, and said her husband would have to check. Ok .... so I show him the way to the wall I found this at, he was, of course, rude as well. "Oh that's why, it's a set of 3, didn't you see it?" Acting totally annoyed, no sir, actually I didn't because I have horrible vision .... soooo...? I then, was like "well thank you, I'll pass though." I then hear this "gentleman" mumble under his breath "great, how am I going to get this back to there?" I had other items selected for purchase, but after that, I was like nope. Rude AF. I come from the Midwest, so maybe I am pampered to politeness and courtesy, but I definitely did not find it here. Awful...
Read moreI have visited this establishment several times over the years and have spent quite a bit of money here too. These people are the rudest proprietors I've ever met. Lots of their merchandise has been setting in the same spot for years. They will not budge on the price one bit (not even a few dollars). No card reader, you have to go to the gas station across The 87 to use an ATM. I will never set for in this dump again as there are better antique stores in town that value...

Come to find out, we really only visit Payson during the week and this place is open Friday and Saturday only. We were so happy to find it open.
