Runnings — Local services in Pekin

I do not recommend going to the store me and my boyfriend had just discovered the store two nights before and decided to go in and go shopping on Wednesday, December 18 and we took my dog inside and she had a pink collar and a pink leash on her when we walked inside, but once we got inside, I took her leash off of her because I was working on training with her staying near me. right before I left I put the leash back on her and checked out the 4 things I had purchased. On my way home I got a call from my mother saying my hometown police officers had recieved a call from the pekin police department looking for me because they had “charges” on me but refused to specify the charges. I then got in contact with the pekin police and they asked me to go back to the store after I was already half way home. The manager had said that I stole a collar and leash for my dog and he found tags for a pink collar and a pink leash, but I have owned the pink collar and pink leash that we walked in with wich we have had for over a month now. The manager told the cops to arrest me and charge me with trespassing if I did not come back to the store that night. Even one of the officers had asked to see the security fotage and the manager claimed that it cannot be seen till the next morning. The manager was very rude to me when I first had came back to the store. I was super excited to shop at this store because it had a lot of things I often am looking for but can never find but I will not attend this store again due to all these false...

Come to find out they don't have digital pay, I don't have anything thing else on me, no big deal the lady I was talking to at the counter said it was okay if I placed my order online. I heard her go back and talk to the manager, whom can see what I'm doing standing at the counter. I heard the manager say she couldn't believe that I didn't carry any other form of payment. I thought I heard her say that I wouldn't be able to do the online pick up today as well but I assumed i miss heard because the lady at the register came back over and didnt say anything to me as I stood there and continued to mess with the website to get all of my products in my cart. About 10 minutes later I tell the clerk that I wasn't able to find the pine shavings to add to the basket on the website. She said I could go over and talk to the manager and also I wasn't going to be able to do my online pick up today anyways because the person that's supposed to be there is not, and they cant process it. So she let me stand there and waste my time all while knowing I wasn't going to be able to place my pick up order today. The manager just hid over in her office while she could see me and knew I wasn't going to be able to check out either way.

I just happened to be running some errands in Pekin and I drove past Runnings and honestly, I didn't know that they were rebranded. I decided to stop in and see what the store was about. I noticed the sign out front said that the grand opening was in March so I was wondering if it was even open, but I saw people going in and out. I never went into the previous store which was R.P Home & Harvest but it kind of reminded me of a farm and fleet store the way it was laid out and the items that they had. I'm not sure if they're still remodeling the store or not but I did notice that the previous carpet had been torn up and no new carpet was put down yet so the floors were kind of weird, it needs some updating, especially in the bathroom. That being said, there were lots of different types of items available in the store for purchase. There was a huge selection of items for pets, lots of clothes, sporting goods, hunting and fishing equipment, clothing, footwear, lawn and garden supplies, housewares, tools, farm supplies, toys, and outdoor equipment!
