It is very beautiful. The town is amazing especially with all the flowers in early spring. I will caution you though if you have a child that needs a diaper changed there are no diaper stations in this town. I was there for 2 1/2 hours downtown Pella, where the festival is and only found one place to change my granddaughter that we had to pay to get in. If you order food that doesnât earn you the right to use their restroom and the only place I did find a change her there was no changing station. I had to change her on a bench. For as many families as I seen their Iâm not sure how they were changing their little ones possibly in a stroller but I still donât understand in a festival this large why they wouldnât have more baby changing station.    Read moreI go every year because I have family in Pella. The parades are great, school marching bands, car show, floats, costumes, candy handouts. Lots of craft tents, food vendors, Very friendly atmosphere. Basically a fair maybe 1/16 the size of Iowa State Fair and much cleaner. No admission prices but paid parking if you choose.
