I have been going to harbor freight tools for a long time. I am a tradesman and a home mechanic. That being said here is my advice on what is worth while and what is a waste of time. "If" you are a once in awhile do it yourselfer then most of the tools here are of good enough quality to get you through most jobs. And if maintained properly should last you quite a while. "If" your like me and beat up on your tools, and need to push your tools too the limit then I recommend staying away from the electric power tools. Not that they are all that bad, but if you need reliability then get a solid name brand. Here's a list of some of my highest recommended purchases. Auto jacks, stands, lifts, pressed etc are of great value and quality. The red tool box that has the patent number on the inside of the drawers was actually a original snap-on tool box patent sold to harbor freight. It's a awesome tool box. I have 2 of them. I also recommend signing up for the insider deals. I really like this place just research certain items b4 you buy, and get the warranty on...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this specific store over 2 years and I have never had any issue with anyone except today with guy named “JAH” or “JAD” rude from the beginning and no even wanted to talk and do my purchase, ¡so crazy! I noticed that he was “high” (under any drug) by the way he was moving and almost falling, I really do not care about anybody’s life but if he is being hired for customer attention/service at the cashier are a least as a person with values should respond to the customer or anything related, he should perform his position as best as posible for the customers. Today I had a really bad experience, sadly I bought lot of tools from harbor freight because quality and pricing are decent , I also went for a warranty and in the past I was told that to replace any tools just need to bring the broken tool and take a new one to the cashier but today the same guy told me something different lol. the manager on charge today (march 29 2025 really good nice person) help me put a lot, sadly customer...
Read morePrices are cheaper than brand named equivalents, quality of products are hit and miss but for non electric, hydraulic or gas products I find the quality very good (tarps, ropes, hand tools, tool bags are great but electric drills, dremels, gas chainsaws, etc I don't expect them to last as long as name brands nor would want to have to rely on them for a job). The 90 day warranty on powered tools and engines is too short, but if you buy the extended warranty they swap it no questions asked.. . Factor warranty cost in the price when comparing to brand names as most powered tools I got failed before 2 years of average use some by the fourth time using it. Long lines but they generally move fast, on average the employees are helpful. High rating since they 100% stand behind the...
