I am a loyal customer who eats at your establishment weekly due to the 5 star quality and service you provide. Unfortunately, today i brought my brother and parents to celebrate an accomplishment. Everything was great until the bill. I usually love spending 18/20% on gratuity because these ladies deserve it. However it has always been our choice. Today, one of the young ladies was in charge due to management not being there and she charged me 20% on my bill. We were only 4 people and didnt order much. Either way it wouldn’t have mattered this time we didn’t get the option to place the gratuity we wanted to give and when I asked why wasnt I asked before it was selected for me? The response was “oh the computer did it” i said, that is untrue i come weekly and i am always able to give what i choose to. She said “I will check”. When she returned (she was so sweet and appears new) she said her coworker who was left in charge states its always been 20% as a standard. Lying to loyal clients is the number one way to lose a client. I was very unsatisfied with the responses given and felt we were being taken advantage of. I would’ve gladly left the 20%. The owner reached out personally and remedied the issue promptly and adequately. This establishment is absolutely amazing and the owner and stuff are extremely professional. This will always be my go to for Peruvian cuisine and its a must go to restaurant. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality.
INITIAL REVIEW
I have to start by saying that the food here is great, I have also ordered here on multiple occassions, therefore that is not what im going to complain about. As you can see from the pictures, the quality of the take out containers are the foam ones and unfortunately the food was soo hot (not an issue at all) that it burned through the containers and that is very unsanitary due to the foam material now in the food itself. I dont live very close to the location, therefore going back was not an option.I hope the owner or someone with the authority at the restaurant sees this post and recognizes the issue. I would appeciate someone to contact me directly to rectify the issue especially since the prices are not that cheap. Read moreUnfortunately, I am unable to rate their food but I will rate my experience over a Groupon I purchased that they would NOT accept. I was planning on taking my mother and mother in law on Mother's Day and purchased a Groupon that states I can go ANYdate and the fine print states dine in only and cannot be used on Federal Holiday's...I called them just to be sure and to my surprise they said no I cannot use it that day. Last time I checked Mother's Day is not a Federal Holiday- That is Ridiculous! so the lady I spoke too told me that the owner said No, it will not be valid on that day. No customer service...to me this speaks louder than their food being good and having great reviews food wise...They should have honored my purchase and update the restrictions with Groupon so this wont happen to them again, not tell a potential customer to use it another day when the groupon states ANY DAY...and again Mother's Day is NOT a Federal Holiday!
