I looove Indian food! I've visited many Indian restaurants hoping to find a new favorite place, one that serves quality dishes at a reasonable price and that isn't too far from where I live in Miramar. I've eaten at The Mughal (a fairly new establishment) on two separate occasions for their weekend buffet; so far I think they offer one of the best Indian buffets in Broward county. This place is definitely worth checking out. thumbs up

The food is absolutely delicous! Their buffet has a generous selection to choose from, both vegetarian and meat dishes. On both of my visits the buffet area was clean and the food was kept very warm. Naan bread is served hot and fresh to your table upon asking your server. Also, if you visit on different weekends you'll find the buffet selections are never the same--it's a great way to familiarize yourself with Indian cuisine or to try something new with each visit. Lastly, ask for a hot masala chai (not included in the buffet). This place has the best masala chai I've tried in any Indian restaurant. Ask for it at the beginning of your meal since they make it for you fresh and it takes about 30 min. If you're a fan of spicy fall/winter seasonal drinks this is the drink for you.

I found the service is generally pleasant and attentive. I do think there's some room for improvement for example, they could wait on your table more frequently to refill empty cups and take discarded plates more often. Otherwise, I find them to be warm towards customers and helpful when answering questions. I spoke with the owner on my way out during my last visit. He seems really friendly and genuinely eager to know how everything was from my perspective. I wish him and The Mughal Restaurant much success and many years at...

Experience with the Sunday Lunch buffet was not at all good. Went there with my family with a lot of expectations, but was disappointed.

Food was cold. Naan bread was served at the table after waiting for 20+ minutes and 3 reminders. We were almost done by the time the bread came. couldn’t find any pieces that looked like chicken in the tray labeled as ‘Chicken curry’. When I asked the lady at the reception, she casually said that they changed the item to ‘BEEF Curry’ but forgot to change the label. Really????? I am an Indian Hindu and we dont’s eat Beef due to religious beliefs. One would expect a Restaurant serving so many Indians/Hindus to be sensitive about these things. Butter chicken and dal makhani were too sour. They tasted like the packed/ready to eat stuff, which has a lot of preservatives and tastes sour usually(as if it has gone bad). Goat Biryani didn’t have any goat pieces for the most part. They did refill after some people complained though. Not enough variety in sweets either. Gulab Jamuns were not fresh and kheer was very very basic.

Even though the Naans came too late, the quality/taste was better than anything else on the menu (most likely because these were the only things being cooked fresh). Chicken tandoori and one or two Vegetarian options were kind of ok. However, Definitely not worth the $17+ Price tag (including taxes).

I am not going there again....even if someone else offers...

SERVICE IS SOOO BAD. THEY ARE RUDE TO CUSTOMERS FOR NO REASONS AND CANCELS ORDERS LAST MINUTE

I went to the store and made an order for catering and I met one of the chef who took my orders and gave me a total and confirmed the pick up time. Since I made the order for catering pick up on the day of EID, I made sure to confirm with the chef. I was told to give them a call one day before EID to confirm so I called and this time a different chef picked up the call and when i confirmed my order and pick up time he told me they cannot do that by 12:30 pm and I’ll have to pick up my order after 3:00 pm. Now mind you this is for EID so how i can i pick up my food past three to feed my guests. So i tried telling him that the other chef who maybe the owner has confirmed me that I can pick up the order by 12:30 pm and that’s why i placed the order there. He became SUPER RUDE with me and told me he doesn’t know anything and can’t do anything to help me and told me to place an order SOMEHWHERE ELSE.

Which I did but it was their loss for declining to do business. So please save your time and money and take it...

A new indian restaurant on the area with big flavors. I was there yesterday with a friend and we both had a really great food experience. This place was recomend to me by Google. This restaurant has one of the friendliest caring staff I had seen in sometime. I ordered something that I think was called the Buttery chicken and it was both creamy and delicious. It was full of flavor, fresh ingredients and a little bit of heat. I then had a mango drink that was out of this world(lassi) We also tried a dish with small Puff Pastries with Garbanzos beans and a dipping sauce, wow.( panic puri) My eating experience here was out of this world. The staff patiently took time out of their busy schedule to help us in explaining to us the dishes. That made the experience extra special for me. I am defenetly going to be back and yes highly recommend the place.Thank you Mughal for making our eating experience so fantastic.

It’s great to find a halal restaurant open on Mondays. Stopped in after finding this restaurant on Zabihah.com Unfortunately I was the only customer dining in, but they did have a few online orders that were picked up while I was there. Menu had lots of options and prices were reasonably. I had the samosas chaat, chicken biryani, and garlic naan. The portions were very reasonable. They used 2 samosas in the samosas chaat. Most places only use one. The chicken biryani portion was enough for 2 people with a very fair price. The garlic naan was also very reasonably priced. All the food tasted good. It wasn’t great, and it wasn’t bad. It was good and with the portion and pricing it is a worthwhile restaurant to visit. Service was also very good. There were other appealing things on the menu so in-sha-Allah (God willing), I will be back.

Second time it continues to disappoint. Pani puri full of red chili flakes and raita?! ----- Can't believe how they think that's a buffet. Curries taste really drab, are inordinately oily, and ineffective texture. Had to ask server for basic items like chutney, bread and water many times across twenty minutes before we could even begin. All curries cold. On the phone they promised certain items for buffet but in the restaurant said they'll charge a la carte for them. The server is sweet and very polite which is a saving grace for this place of sadness
