Review for league-level bowlers: New to the area but not new to bowling. Coming from a Bowlero center in Maryland, I remember know how fun bowling can be.
My friend and I are planning on bowling in one of their summer leagues so we thought we'd try out the lanes. Eventhough the lanes were not oiled since the day before, There significant enough oil to make the lanes feel fresh and we got a great practice in. After four games we were expecting to have a ton of dirt and oil to clean off our equipment we were surprised that they're was hardly any grime or belt marks on the balls.
Now, bowling at the aforementioned Bowlero center, cleaning up after was a real chore. If you were lucky enough to not get a new chip taken out of your bowling ball, you still had to deal with layers of dirt contend with. And our hands were just covered in dirt and oil. At Hanover Bowling Center (HBC), I could have eaten out of my hands after bowling four games and that is dating something. Kudos to management and the mechanics who are taking care of the machines and belts, making sure they are clean for us.
I highly recommend HBC over any Bowlero, or any other corporate lanes. HBC has a live for the game that big corporations just don't have. HBC is taking care of its league bowlers and I'm so excited to be joining the ranks of leagues bowlers this summer. If you are in a league, you should get out and practice on Sunday mornings from 9-11am. Games are only $2.49! That's where...
Read moreToday my husband and I took the kids to go bowling. We looked at prices on line and thought we had a great deal. Upon arrival we were greatly disappointed. The webpage is way out dated and the prices were not as great as were listed. 26 dollars for an hour didn’t seem so bad but they kill you in the cost of shoe rentals. The building and equipment could definitely use an update. Had to have the pins reset by and employee and the continued to dock us time while we waited. My poor 5 year old who’s hands are too small to hold the ball was using the dragon ramp. Even with the bumpers up it was impossible for him to get a strike. Every time the ball rolled down the ramp it rolled off to the right only knocking down the end 3 pins. The entire bowling lane was un even and should definitely be upgraded. Use to love coming here as a kid. But today’s visit was...
Read moreVery nice entertainment center! Just bowled in a tournament and enjoyed the atmosphere. The overhead TVs advertised some really great deals for families or just a night out! Definitely worth the return to check out other deals. There are 40 lanes...one of the largest I've been to out here(compared to where I lived in California) Plenty of seating for teams and guests which is a plus for me!! (Some places only have seats for the bowlers) Game area was nice! Had about 5 pool tables and a few vending machines. Snack bar and Bar were also onsite but I didn't purchase anything there. Restrooms are clean and staff was friendly. If in the area you should check it out. I was very pleased with everything hopefully you...
