Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Hanover

So I tried this Popeyes for the first time and I don't remember the date that was a couple weeks ago now I have to say I was pleasantly surprised of eating at the one in Westminster Maryland several times years ago and I stopped going because every time I went there they were out of chicken which makes no sense to me but anyway back to this one this Popeyes had some great chicken I was very impressed with the shrimp as well nice and crispy not dried out good flavor very happy with the meal I had service was friendly they were swamped and that seems to be the normal which isn't surprising being a new fast food place in the area the atmosphere inside could be better but part of the issue is just how busy they are and I don't like crowds so it took my food and ate in the car no big deal there I would say that seeing their setup for doordash is a bit sketchy they sit the drinks and the food out on a shelf for the drivers to pick up but they put no seals on the drinks sometimes the bags are barely sealed it's kind of hurt me and I do also drive for doordash on occasion so I got to say I think they need to step up a little bit there I don't necessarily like the fact that all of the places use stickers to block things out because I normally plastic and I just hate plastic anymore I know I'm weird but could use a revamp on the system but otherwise people were friendly helpful and they've been helpful a couple times I've been in there delivering...

I am leaving all these stars for Jose Morales the GM of the Hanover store . I seen him interact with all his customers, and how they love him as a Gm of the Hanover store and how they love the oldies music and the comments they make about how Jose makes them feel welcomed and makes them feel like family and how a lot of customers leave happy knowing they have a GM like this that runs Popeyes in a really fantastic way. I also see and feel as Jose don’t get much appreciation from this company when I done seen him do his best and bend over backwards for this company in a very short time of being there. Jose fixes everything when and if there was ever a problem . He goes above and beyond for this company . Just wish from what I see Jose should be more appreciated. Yea this is my opinion and I could write a lot more but Popeyes only look at bad reviews and worry about them which is understandable but also should look at the good reviews like this one because you definitely have one heck of a man running your business for you that deserves more...

I am posting this review because my husband Michael is a doordasher and he was held up at this particular restaurant at 10:00 at night for at least 15 minutes to wait for the order. I respectfully called and talked to the manager Ariana and requested for her to please extend us the courtesy of a coupon for free food as this is my husband's second job and we his family are upset that he had to wait this long late at night to still deliver another order. This has been a repeated problem that my husband has reported to to me and to doordash and I will be looking up the corporate number tomorrow because the manager was rude and disrespectful to me and hung the phone up on my call. Customer service is key for door Dashers to receive a decent tip. My husband delivers excellent customer service but it is absolutely impossible to do so if the participating restaurant that he is picking up from does not have the order ready and waiting for him when he arrives.
