We have visited this location on many occasions and were pleased however, this experience left a terrible memory in our minds! Our father requested to go here for dinner for his birthday a few Sundays ago, we called ahead and let them know that we would be there around 6-6:30 for a table of 10. We arrived early, and were not seated until 7:15. We looked past this and were excited for everyone to enjoy endless shrimp. Our ENITRE TABLE minus two of the kids ordered endless shrimp, that's a huge tab for our server, plus drinks. We sat for over 10 minutes without being greeted. Our drink order was taken but then our server was switched without explanation. Our order took over 1hr to arrive and we each got 2 refills that took 1/2 hr a piece!!! We ended our dinner without further food, without dessert for our father. We made it a point to tell 3 different people it was his birthday and no one did anything special for him, they were singing happy birthday to a customer when we were seated so we knew that they would do it. No one came to apologize for the wait. Closing time isn't until 10 on Sundays but we left at 9 o clock, tired, some of us still hungry and utterly disappointed. Our entire evening was wasted away and that's a birthday my dad can never get back. So very disappointed that a popular chain restaurant would allow this time of thing to happen during one of their most popular...
Read moreFirst, may I start by saying that my wife and I have been patronizing this Red Lobster for decades, ever since it first opened. It is well-managed and very clean. Our server, Bobbi, was kind, courteous, respectful, engaging, and everything you would want from a server. My wife chose “Shrimp three ways,” while Bobbi helped me decide which Lobsterfest choice to make. With her wise advice, I chose the “Bar Harbor Lobster Bake,” which was simply put, phenomenal. Dishes do not get a “phenomenal” rating from me unless they are lovingly crafted by a chef. I wish I had taken a photo of my plate, because it looked identical to the picture in the Lobsterfest insert! Grillmaster Noah prepared the dish perfectly from the delicious grilled lobster tails (if you love them steamed, you will love the hardwood grilled tails) to the very delicately baked mussels in that delicious garlic butter sauce with tomatoes. Mussels are not forgiving to overcooking, and these were as tender as they get (trust me, I’ve prepared and eaten them many times). My wife said her Walt’s shrimp, Scampi, and Parrot Bay Coconut Shrimp are always her favorites, and did not disappoint. We swapped a couple of items and indeed I felt the same. She loved my mussels and shrimp as well. Keep up the great work, and include more bakes in the future. I don’t eat the pasta (it was good, but carbs 🥲), but...
Read moreI'll never come here again. The quality has been going down for years but tonight was the last straw. For a Friday night the restaurant was 2/3 empty. That should tell you everything you need to know right there. I ordered a very expensive lobster, shrimp and steak dinner. Other members of my party ordered expensive seafood dishes as well.
Everything came out cold and the smell of my king crab legs was pure ammonia. The steak was tough and terrible. The shrimp were like rubber and seen that they've been sitting around for a long time. My baked potato had obviously been reheated and the chaturbay biscuits were stale.
My friends fish and chips were disgusting. The quality of the fish was soggy and cold. The fries were actually okay.
Never again. This restaurant has been going downhill and if I don't get sick it will be a miracle. I will never return. Three strikes and you're out. It's such a shame because this used to be a fantastic restaurant.
Our waitress was kind and courteous and I think she could even see the writing on the wall.
The restaurant was dirty. There is debris about the floors And none of the staff appeared happy.
By far one of the worst dining experiences I've had in my entire life. For a Friday night and not being busy there's no excuse for this. I paid over $100 for meals that were inedible and...
