Every few months I visit this store. When I am at checkout I seem to be monitered extremely. In the past I would notice but just ignore. Well today was a major stereotype day. As I am at self checkout I noticed I was being monitored by tow floor attendants way too close. I requested them to give me some space because I noticed that both attendants were in my view. One was behind me watching me scan and the other was beside me and in a way too noticeable way! I went to the manager Lisa and then I let her know that I felt very uncomfortable and could she please have them monitor me from a distance. Lisa came over with lies on her tongue stating well it was because your light was blinking! Not one time while I was scanning did the light blink at self checkout! ! And I became more angered! Then as I am checking out the machine was alerting staff to come assist me. Now, in the past I would have that experience while everyone else at checkout would go through smooth. I was constantly being stopped. Coming back to today, I’m still watching others need help and having to wave the floor monitors away from me, as they were so fixed on monitoring my scan process. After I finished scanning while fighting through scanning, and these floor attendants I noticed I scanned weighed an item that I needed to be refunded. I walk back over to customer service and I wanted the refund and the whole store manager was all of a sudden available after I asked for her before! I’m livid at this point and told her that we can have a side conversation. I let her know what I my experience was and how no one should know that monitoring is going on but it was too blatant and in my face making me feel extremely uncomfortable and the stereotyping should stop. Not every time I come in this store, I let it go many times! Today was the last straw! She said I will look at the video, I told here does she want me to stay so that I can show her what I was talking about? And she said no! Which gave me the idea that maybe she called her employees to be on my back. Keep it up Weis Baltimore street Hanover, Pa. Crowding people these days will get a lawsuit for your...
Read moreEver since they opened in the new Baltimore Pike location, workers are so friendly and smiles are unbelievable . I love going here to shop and just walk around relax and listen to the great oldies music that plays threw the day and night. Its a very very relaxing atmosphere , the store managers is always there, you need assistance, the service is prompt . I have nothing negative to say about this store location. We need more management and workers like this in all stores. Lifes to short to be a sour puss. This team runs this business as professionals. And they are to be commended . I think all the workers should get a good pay raise. You give people incentives they will do good work and have something to look forward to. People dont enjoy there jobs like we used to back in the day. We cared and a paycheck, wasnt just looking for a next patcheck additude, we loved our jobs and everyone made work fun. learn from us older ones we will show you about REAL, TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE.THEY KNOW ABOUT HOW TO TREAT PEOPLE WITH RESPECT HERE AT...
