I want to start this off by saying I have been going to them since their previous location in the Hanover markets. I have loved and supported this business through their move and have brought lots of people with me to try them out. Everyone makes mistakes and they have messed up on things before and it was immediately fixed however this time I was treated very poorly and unprofessional when I reached out about my visit today. I went in for their promotion of the no base bowls (all toppings) I have attached pictures. On the sign it clearly states “your choice of 2 toppings “ NOT BASE toppings not ADD ON toppings just plainly toppings. I saw the price of my bowl to be more than the promotion so I kindly asked the employee why I was charged 10.50 after choosing 2 toppings (soy nut butter and chocolate chips). He didn’t have a good explanation and again it wasn’t clearly stated anywhere that is was only BASE toppings. I paid for my bowl and ate it quickly and left since I was disappointed. I submitted a help form on their website I left my phone number for the owner along with my description of my experience.

The owner was immediately very defensive on the phone and wasn’t letting me speak on how I felt. She tried to say that it’s only base toppings (also what the employee said but he didn’t explain this fully) she went into more details and told me if I had truly been a customer for a long time I would have already known this and I was my responsibility to understand the menu. However this sign was very unclear and I was confused (she said this had never happened however I did scroll down and saw a few people were confused on pricing as well). She was telling me prices of ingredients she had to buy and why things were at a certain cost when my issue was with the clarity of the promotion toppings I could pick from. I had kindly asked her to calm down and stop talking so sternly and down to me and she said “im at Walmart and doing a million other things” next time she could have waited to call till she had time to clam down and not be busy. I wasn’t looking for an immediate response and after my experience with her I wouldn’t have liked a response at all. She was very disrespectful and i understand it sucks to get a bad experience review and that she cares about her team. I was polite and was just confused and wanted to write how I felt disappointed to not get an answer and not have it clearly marked. She had also said the employees overheard myself and my boyfriend seeing the prices BUT what they failed to say was we saw toppings and were comparing them to what we could only try to justify the price as. I have loved this business but after being yelled at and talked down to on the phone by Donna I will never be back and neither with my family/ friends. In the end I was just trying to help their business by stating from a customer service point of view and a customer point of view customers will need more clarification on promotions via face book and in store . If they ask they should be given a clear example and asked if it’s okay to continue . I wish this would have turned out differently because they are a cool local spot but I will not support people who just defend instead...

I got a smoothie which was about $13 for maybe 8oz. Which is bit steep price wise given the fact that it was such a small amount, but the smoothie itself was good, tasted like any other smoothie you'd get anywhere else. Overall not a bad experience...that is until I came across a review with a passive aggressive and backhanded reply from the owner. It almost seems like they didn't want to hear what anyone has to say unless positive. Which makes me wonder if they really care about their customers and making sure they have a positive experience regardless the issue.

I would've given this a better review but the attitude that the owner portrayed with that reply really didn't sit well with me, no matter the comment. Seems like they got the comment deleted which I guess was the owners intention, to bully their paying customers. I really hope that isn't the attitude and culture they uphold and teach their employees. Is that how they would treat anyone that has an issue that doesn't align with the owners beliefs? Do better!

Edit: You addressed one issue...which wasn't a huge deal. My total was $27 with an açaí bowl, are you saying bowls are $20???

Whatever, doesn't matter but you clearly can't address the attitude issues and disrespect cause that's something you can't control. It's clear this is your first time running a business....

Wow, Ohana Bowl truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, friendly service that made me feel right at home. The staff is genuinely passionate about their offerings and eager to help you craft the perfect bowl. And let me tell you about their Acai bowls — simply the best I've ever had! Fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor, each bowl is a beautiful masterpiece that not only tastes fantastic but also leaves you feeling energized and satisfied. The variety of toppings and options allows you to customize to your heart’s content. If you're looking for a place with great vibes, exceptional service, and the most delicious Acai bowls around, Ohana Bowl is the spot to visit. I can't...
