Nail Expo — Local services in Pennsville Township

I wish I could give no stars because look at my nails they look terrible due to a “bad gel batch” they received and put on my nails.

On July 19th I got my nails done here (gel). Before it even made a week, the gel polish started to peel. On day 9/10 I had 3 nails with some gel the other 7 had no gel left at all. I called Nail Expo, and informed the receptionist what was occurring, she told me that they had received a bad batch of gel polish which could be the reason why the gel wasn’t lasting the normal 2/3 weeks. She then put the owner on who said they would re-do it. Excited, I made an early appointment for the following day and had to cancel because I noticed my nails were so brittle and extremely soft. I called the salon and spoke to the owner and I asked her “instead of getting gel, Im going to settle for a regular manicure.” Because in my opinion Getting gel would be a bad idea considering how brittle and soft my nails were. She said no, because it wasn’t the service I received. I did state a manicure is cheaper and faster but she still declined. Therefore I declined the gel re-do and decided I’ll never go back. As you can see, I get my nails done often and I’ve never had...

I usually get my nails done by Tina and she never disappoints but when I went in today, the lady at the second chair with the really short hair with purple /blue hair, was constantly on her and was rushing threw my nails, I showed her a picture of what I want done and I even offered to leave my phone out so she can see how I like it, she ended up doing my nails really thin and short! When I asked for long . Then later she tried to put diamonds on my hand and I had told her I did not ask for that and she Tried to yell at me stating she wanted to put it on for me and I still told her no I did not ask for it . I ended up Leaving unhappy with my nails, the lady did her own thing . I called and ask if Tina can do my nails the next day and would they still charge me , the lady that did my nails got on the phone and ARGUED WITH ME . And mind you I tipped her ! Anyways idk what kind of nails salon allows the employees to argue with the customer, this place is highly unprofessional And Tina deserves to be in a better nail salon because she has talent than most of them...

I came here a few weeks ago and got gel polish on my toes and nails, the gel polish didn’t even last a week !! & when the gel polish started coming off my nails were so brittle and thin I could literally bend my nails!!! This place should be shut down immediately I don’t know what chemicals they use in there products but it’s the worst & a waste of money and my time !!! I now go to EVA'S NAILS AND SPA in Pennsville next to the save a lot. They do an excellent job. I recommend going there , my nails grow back stronger...
