We used to come to Strikerz almost every Friday for glow bowling. It was $12 then and we never had any issues. Once we asked to change lanes because we didn’t like being by the wall and the employee did it for us no problem. This is our first time coming back after a few months and we had issue after issue. First of all the price went up to $14 which I normally wouldn’t mind, but our lane wasn’t properly scoring our bowling. We complained and they tried to fix it which took them at least 5 minutes where we couldn’t do anything. After they supposedly fixed it we were still having issues and were finally given the chance to switch lanes. Then once we were at the new lane one of our turns messed up repeatedly until the lane wouldn’t even reset the pins. After we notified the employee several lanes had their computer systems just randomly shut off and we had to wait for them to load back up. After that we still had to wait for the pins to reset. Read moreThere were six of us, 3 adults and 3 kids. We went the day after Christmas 2015. They were shorthanded during the holiday and the snack bar was closed, which was a disappointment because we planned to eat there. We skipped lunch and it was about 4 o'clock. The guy at the front counter did the best he could and called the manager to see if they could get someone to open it, because we weren't the only ones who asked. They called around to see if anyone could come in, but no luck. :( I don't blame them. If my boss called me the day after Christmas, I would probably tell him no too. They did have someone open the bar at 5, so we were able to get some sodas and ate some snacks out vending machine. The bartender and the front desk guy were both great, friendly and did the best they could to accommodate everyone, but I think the odds were against them. Editing to respond to the owner. If you have new employees that will be answering your phones, they need to be made aware of the policies and procedures. We were told to show up 30 minutes early and specifically asked about any conflicts with leagues. This was a preventable mistake caused by a failure to communicate with your staff and/or train them properly.
