BEYT LAHM — Restaurant in Brent

I just picked up an order of hummus and greek salad, and my only question is why am I now Googling if a diet consisting of only hummus is sustainable and healthy? To all those people who have wondered why anyone likes olive oil after trying the garbage you get at the grocery store - the stuff they drizzle on top is life-changing. I'm about to call them up and ask where I can get me some. I ordered at a weird time of day and wasn't super hungry but after that hummus I can tell you I can't wait to order an actual entree from here. The greek salad is pretty basic, good but nothing extraordinary. And not to throw shade at another business (I don't want to do that) but this hummus compared to what I had at another popular Pensacola spot is night and day! While I was excited to eat here the dishes didn't quite hit the mark. The food was nice and hot, but some of the flavors were off. I ordered the lamb chops with couscous, tzatziki, and baba ganoush. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and the baba ganoush was awesome. The tzatziki was bland and tasted like straight cucumber and yoghurt. The couscous tasted like maybe they used a seafood broth or something to cook it in and the flavors didn't go well together with the lamb. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch meal at Beyt Lahm (think the Biblical town, Bethlehem; literally meaning house of bread). This is a Mediterranean restaurant right off Fairfield that provided authentic and delicious food cooked in the Palestinian tradition of Mediterranean. We were seated, and immediately brought water and some fresh bread and dips.
