• EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER

After being a loyal customer here for 2 years—- i was given a store credit a few months ago. I came in to the store, immediately checked with the owner that it was still good- she agreed. I admitted that it was a few months old but was grateful- her demeanor drastically changed and she said “that’s not Cool, that’s not how we play around here but sure go ahead, shop away”

I mentioned that i spent 300$ that day, returned 1 or 2 items … but she insisted that it wasn’t “cool” of me to return to her shop and use the money I HAD ALREADY GIVEN HER.

A minute later the owner returns to me asking “why i have an attitude.” I reiterate to her my stance and utter confusion as an expiration date of store credit was not given- she snaps at me “you can’t just not come in here for months then waltz back in here to shop, put your things down and get out im calling the cops”

I wish i didn’t have other obligations to get to on my 1 day off, i would have stayed and let the cops come so I could get my $$ back. Extremely disappointed. Stay clear of this rude, wishy...

• Owner chased us out of the store saying she had a gun! * Earlier this week, I went to the store with an out-of-town family member, looking for a party dress. The lights were on in the window, merchandise was displayed outside the entrance of the porch, and the door was unlocked. We entered and made ourselves know by saying hello. We hear someone say something in another room farther back in the store, so we say hello again. The owner comes out, yelling at us to not go any further because she has a GUN! We retreat immediately and say we assumed she was still open. She yelled that there is no sign on the door saying that she is open, and I reply that there also is no sign saying she is closed. Perhaps this owner has a new problem she is plaqued with the smell of mold and mildew is overwhelming. I could not purchase nor consingn anything there due to the damage occuring from this heavy mold mildrew problem. I hope this is'nt a long term matter. My heart goes out to her because that is a horrid problem to try to overcome... if she ever can. I dont know if she is a renter or owns the building. Perhaps as renter and she can move fast from that location. Its so very sad I empathise with her hard work and sacafrice but she must treat all gaments and...
