Cheap cheap Hardcovers and the Gentleman that works here offered to allow me in the back to pick free books to send to my friend in prison. I got 3 hardcover books for 5$ a piece! Awesome people. Not too sure about the selection As I've only been once and I was just there to send my friend something. The owner of the store does not like to send hardcover books to people in prison. I guess he's the police so don't go in smelling like smoke or anything. I wanted to send my friend Hardcovers because that is what my friend likes but this dude was doing his part to keep contraband out of our prisons, which is respectable considering it's his company and his ass on the line, Damn justice system. Open Books has such a vast amount of options when it comes to books, everything is right where you need to be when scanning through for books!

The bookstore has a program where their profits go towards sending books to prisoners, which is such an incredible cause to support!

It’s the best because they’re the ONLY used bookstore in town! Plus they really are the best! They have a large room full of used books for $1.. yes $1! The other room is full of higher quality that are sold are higher prices but not exorbitant. Extremely well organized and the volunteers are very friendly.
