I have gone to Lamonte Gelato many times, and I have been to hundreds of Gelato places all across the globe and Lamonte serves and makes the best Gelato in America. I cannot stress this enough. If you love Gelato this place is worth two hours or more commute to get to. Truly it is. The quality is that good. Truly the best and I have been to the best in America. Including Gorgeous Gelato, Gelato Paradiso, Gaia Gelato, IL Dolce Gelato, and Black Dog Gelato. I have gone to the international Gelato show in Italy and the one this year in China. This is a destination. Each detail of each flavor is done on a manic level. Pensacola Florida you are truly lucky. I finally tried the affogato and it is the single best thing I have eaten in 2023. Atmosphere: Located at the Old Sacret Heart Hospital, the gelato shop feels cozy and slightly hidden. You have to go down a few steps upon entering which adds to the cozy feeling. Service: The workers here are quick to serve. Other than gelato, they have other menu items that they provide, so they are good at multitasking! Menu items: I’ve tried their gelato, Belgian waffles, and iced dirty chai. They have unique flavors for their gelato and have waffle or cup options for the base. My favorite part is the small waffles with their logo that they put on top of the dessert! I also love their waffles that they serve which I get with berries on top!
