If I could give this place 0 starts I absolutely would. The first time I went to Carlson’s they weren’t very nice to me but because my mother had told me to go to them and loved their business I just blew it off. The second time I went in to bring in a ring to get resized. I called over the phone and they quoted me a price so I brought it in. They didn’t size my finger and just assumed. When I came back to pick it up I was told $20 more that what I was quoted. I was very upset about it but they worked it out. Got home and was doing some household work and it fell right off. The ring was still too big so I had to bring it in again to get it sized correct and is when they finally sized my finger. They should have done that the first time. 9 months later my ring breaks right where it was resized. I walked in today and told them what happened and it’s not even a year old. They told me it happens all the time and it was $40 for the repair. Very annoying. It should not have done this not even a year after being done. They were very rude again to me. Called another jeweler and they told me if they had done it there it would have been free to repair. I will never take my business here again and neither will anyone else I know. I have recommended their place so many times at where I work because I work with jewelry and I will NEVER recommend this place ever again. Very very poor customer service. I inherited three gold rings from my parents. I took them to Carlson's and out of them he created a man's ring for me. He took some of my mother's gems and incorporated them into the design. Tanzanite is my birthstone and that is the center stone. Then he added 3 small diamonds on either side. The end result is beautiful. I have received many, many compliments. Wonderful craftsmanship and good people to work with. Because of Carlson's, I am able to wear something that reminds me of Mom and Dad. Steve...

Rude. Went in to kindly ask for help getting a ring resized. Woman came out from the back room instantly with an attitude and acted like it was my fault they were “backed up 12 weeks because they only have 1 jeweler” Well, maybe if the employees were more pleasant, more people would want to work there. I would’ve waited 12 weeks, and paid whatever price needed, but she didn’t give me the option. Ended up at Bremer’s (with MUCH friendlier customer service) and had my ring resized...
