Awesome beer selection. They get rare beers, which is great if you like that kind of thing. Service is great. The staff is as friendly as any spot in Peoria. Great place to catch a live band on a Saturday night. Also a great place to play if you are band from out of town looking to perform at an outdoor venue in one of the nicest/hippest spots in central Illinois. Food-wise, you're looking at frozen pizzas. There's a restaurant above Pour Bros that has great food, and Pour bros let's you order it, and bring it down so you can enjoy your food in Pour Bros one of a kind atmosphere. The courtyard outside allows you to find a spot of your own away from other people as well if you want to have a more private night out. Awesome to have a place like this in Peoria to meet like-minded people with interest in good beer and good music. Like I said, probably the nicest downtown area in Central Illinois. Great restaurants right up the street. The prices on the beers are right in line with what you'd expect from a place that serves micro-brews. Oh, and you get to pour your own beer on the pour wall which = rarely waiting for somebody to pour...
Read moreThis is such a fun concept, and I am so glad someone in Peoria implemented a bar like this. Right when you walk in you can order a drink from the bartender or ask for a card for the beer tap system on the wall. They take your own credit card as collateral and you can start tapping away at the beers on the wall. The best part is you can pour as much or as little beer into your glass as you want. It's all calculated based on ounce. I've been to a wine bar like this before, but they only disperse specific amounts. This is great for trying beer, or for making your own flights. The beer changes often, so it's fun to go each time. The tables are big and long for conversing and meeting new people. In the summer they have live music, and there always seems to be events. Great place to have in...
Read moreGreat place to come in and try a wide varieties of beers on tap. What really makes this place stand out was the unique concept of the option to purchase beer by the ounce. A card is issued to you and you activate any one of the dozen or so taps on the wall. The card keeps track of which beer and how many ounces is poured. It's a fun efficient way for someone to get a wider variety of beers. You can also purchase beers by the pint off of a menu as well. Not sure of this concept is very wide spread, but its a novel one for me. I liked it a lot! Service was especially happy to explain the process as well when I told them I was a newbie to the place. I'm told during the summer months they have live music there weekly as well. I'll be sure to come back next time...
