First off, I must say, from the moment I stepped foot inside the door to the moment I left, staff was amazing! Remember to bring your ID. They card at the door and no matter if you are 21 or 51, no ID, no entrance; not even to just "check it out." After I was carded, I walked into the lobby: a few employees answering phones and visiting with guests. I was immediately greeted by a "cani-tender" and escorted through a door to the goods. This room has about 4 registers with pricing posted behind a "L" shaped counter height glass display case. The "cani-tenders" then ask guests about their needs, goals of use and usage consumption to help determine purchases. There was about 4 "types" with flavored cartridges to choose from. Everything was pre-packaged for staff to grab for fast grab-n-go service, if desired. I believe there was samples to smell. Speaking of smell, there was little to no odor detected in this room. I was pretty surprised by that. After selection, guests are rang up by their "cani-tender," who seems to have their own register and station for the day. Your "shopping bag" is discrete: a gray/silver classier, tougher plastic pouch with a ziploc type seal. Everything purchased goes in and fits well. *PLEASE NOTE: I call the staff "cani-tenders" because I view them kind of like a bartender. By each register has a tip jar. I tip my bartender and so I would hope regular customers would tip their "cani-tender." Plus, time wise, the "cani-tenders" take the time to satisfy their customers unlike a busy bartender slinging drinks, so they deserve generous gratuity. After your purchase, you are escorted thru a 3rd door (looks like administration offices) and out a 4th door to the outdoors. Upon leaving, I noticed a line had formed, but social distancing was still implemented. Overall, I was very impressed and pleased with how their operation functioned. I was happy to see the many safety protocols in place, not only for COVID but also for enforcing cannabis use strictly to citizens 21 and above. The store was clean and the smell was neutral. Staff was welcoming, friendly, professional and extremely knowledgeable about their products. I felt safe and not judged. NOTE: I do not partake myself, but believe in the benefits medically & recreational use is acceptable to me if the proper laws are in place. Dude was an absolute duck. As soon as I walked up to the counter I let the guy know I only had $30 to spend. He goes” oh no worries man I got you.” Then proceeds to start showing me stizzy pre packs. Which were $32 after tax. And the blunt versions which were $37 after tax. We sat there talking about the different strains for a minute. I eventually say the regulars cause they’re closer. Don’t wanna be greedy Thinking “he’s got me.” I picked the regular joints. He scans it up, I go to hand him the money and he blankly stares at me and says 2.75 more. Like I didn’t just tell him I only had $30. I didn’t make a big deal about it just said alright never mind i only have the $30. Picked out 2 of their dirt “find” joints. Which were just under $10. This is the real issue. After I Paid, the dude seriously looks at me and says “don’t forget to tip.” Like eat a big bag of ducks dude. Waste of time and space. I’ll never go to curaleaf again. Nor will any one of my family members or friends after I tell them about this ish. We use to go to this specific location regularly. Now I think we’ll stick to jars or story entirely. Terrible customer service. We have been here many times before. My boyfriend purchased some product from them today and asked specifically for Indica products. My boyfriend even asked the person behind the counter verifying the products were Indica. They said yes. After making the purchase my boyfriend comes home. (Literally not even 15 minutes after the purchase, we live very close) realized they gave us all Sativa products which is not what he asked for. Nothing was opened. He called them immediately and the person on the phone said he can come back with products to see what they can do. He drives back there immediately. Once arriving they tell him they cannot do anything for him and he had the opportunity to check the product when the person put it down on the counter. So now we have products we will not use and wasted a LOT of money. Don't tell us to drive back there and see what you can do when you know you can offer NOTHING. Waste of time and money on our end.
