Best China — Restaurant in Peoria

I'll start by saying that the food is real good compared to other Chinese food in the area. BUT I will say I did not appreciate being rushed over and over in ordering my food. I came in and asked for a family size table and they where hesitant to give me that open table. I only asked for that table because I have a toddler who like to venture off and talk to people so I wanted to make sure I kept in in between me and grandma but the guy told me not to sit him in the middle because they did not want to clean after my son because kids are messy eaters. I couldn't believe me ears but I kept my cool and settled for a regular booth table. After we got sat I asked for five minutes to look over the menu. They kept coming over every thirty seconds to ask if we were ready if we were ready if we were ready and then the final waitress came to ask if we were waiting for someone and i said no. I asked if they were closing soon and they said no so why the rush? I was rushed to give my order. After we ordered they didn't bother to see if we needed a drink. All the rush for what? They made me feel like they don't like people to come in with their kids. By their comment they gave me the expression they don't like to clean up after people which it's their job as a restaurant to clean up after their customers especially after kids eating. (Not that we are dirty messy eaters but my toddler is just learning to eat on his own) Then to top it off they sent another waitress and she kept giving us the stank eye and bad attitude. Didn't appreciate that. I'm usually a great tipper when it comes to anyone serving me BUT I DEFINITELY DID NOT TIP even after a substantial amount I paid for my ordered amount of food. They did not deserve to be tipped. If it wasn't for the food being decent I wouldn't come back. Next time I'm ordering for pick up!

Here's a tip for employees there reading this: BE NICE AND HAVE A PLEASANT ATTITUDE AND LET THE CUSTOMER SIT WHERE THEY WANT AND DONT...

This is by far the worst restaurant I have ever gone to in all of Maricopa County!! I extremely recommend for anybody to choose another Chinese restaurant other than this one the service was completely horrible. My friends and I wanted to try it since its not that far from the house. We were 3 adults, one child and a 1year old baby. From the moment I walked in the younger girl kept looking at us with a dirty look. I think it was because we had a baby. Then the main server wasn't even paying that much attention to the table even though there were only two other tables. Then when it came to pay the server automatically put a tip for her without giving us the chance to give her a proper tip. She had automatically charge a 15% fee because of the baby we were so disgusted by the service that we were just going to give her a $2 tip and she gave herself an $8 tip when the service didn't even call for a tip so we being nice we're going to leave her a $5 tip and walk out she ran outside chase the car down just for $3. And when we try to tell her that why did she try to charge us $8 for a tip and she said it was because there 5 people. She counted a baby that doesn't eat a lot as a whole other person. On top of providing piss poor service they also will rip you off if you're not careful make sure to look at your receipt before paying for it. I've been to a lot of Chinese restaurants here around Maricopa County and I strongly recommend you choosing every single other one over this one because the service in the other ones are a hundred times better than this one and the food isn't that good anyway and over priced especially to provide that bad of a service never coming...

Not even sure how to rate this and normally wouldn't bother but I'm hoping someone who can actually make some changes will see this. This is the only Chinese food I like and I've been going here for 14+ years. Food is fantastic! However, service has become terrible. Our Christmas Eve tradition has been Best China for several years. Last year we invited friends to join us and as soon as we took our last bites we were told we had to leave and they rushed us out! It was early and there were only 2 other tables seated, they were not busy. That was the first time we'd received bad service. Up until then we considered ourselves regulars. We didn't eat here for the entire year after that. We decided to give them another chance Christmas Eve. Service was so bad again and they were so rude to our friends and my aunt. I was incredibly embarrassed. My aunt had some questions about the menu and was met with unnessarily rude responses. Our friend had ordered an appetizer platter as her meal. The waitress came up to her and said "you're not done yet?!" and proceeded to start to take her food from her! They wanted us to eat faster! We were watched while we ate, one waitress was standing less than 3 feet away from our table just standing there staring at us. It was so uncomfortable, it took everything in me to not walk my entire party out the door. My aunt expressed her disappointment to the waitress and received no concern back.
