I generally don't leave reviews but I honestly felt my recent visit deserved one. I recently purchased a Genesis GV80 at Larry H. Miller Genesis Peoria. My purchase was really smooth and I received good service from both Hunter and the finance guy D'Shon. Your facility was very well kept and I was treated well by everyone.
Having said that, I really feel the need to share what truly sold me on my purchase. I originally visited your dealership on Monday June 3, 2024 approximately one hour before closing and spoke with Michael. I personally don't like "salesmen" so I told him I wouldn't be buying anything that day but simply wanted to look at what Hyundai had to offer. Without missing a beat he assured me that he was only there to help me decide if Hyundai had the right vehicle for me. In a matter of about 15 minutes he showed and thoroughly explained everything in detail concerning multiple vehicles which I inquired about including detailed differences between makes and models. Although I didn't inquire initially about the GV80, he though it may be something I would be interested in having considered the things I told him I was looking for in a vehicle. That night I left the lot 90 percent sure I would be purchasing a vehicle from Michael. The following day when I arrived back at the dealership and asked for him, he apologized for being with another customer and assured me that someone would be able to help me. Since he told me the salesmen didn't receive commision for sales, I decided to let someone else assist me. Still, during my visit on Tuesday, he checked in on me several times to confirm I was getting the assistance I deserved. On Wednesday I returned to purchased my vehicle and once again I was greeted with immaculate customer service by Michael. Finally, I needed someone to follow me home in my vehicle and Michael was glad to assist with that. During a 5 minute tutorial and 15 minute ride back to the dealership, this guy saved me weeks of figuring out the intricacies of the vehicle I had just purchased. "Some of which I would have never even knew existed!"
In closing I'll just say this...
Most people like myself don't really care for salesmen/saleswomen. I spent 3 days in Michael's presence while visiting this dealership and never felt as if I was talking to a salesman whenever we spoke. "I know they all are, but it's great to not feel that way about it"! This guy's personality actually sold me a great car on the first day and I actually feel as if I made a friend in the process.
This young man will always be a referral for me as long as he continues to offer great vehicles and excellent customer service!

Behind the scenes yet crucial, the Finance Department deserves praise as well. D'shon, Edgar, and Felipe worked together seamlessly to enhance our experience.
D'shon, in particular, used his decades of experience to secure a deal that left us genuinely happy. Their team understands the balance between running a profitable business and ensuring customer satisfaction—they aim to make money, but never at the cost of the customer’s happiness.
The entire team’s commitment to putting customers first was evident throughout both our visits. Whether it was finding the best deals, rebates, or ensuring we received the best value for our trade-in, their efforts felt organic, as if our interests and happiness were truly at the core of their business.
As for the New dealership location, it’s a fantastic upgrade! The lounge has a luxurious and welcoming ambiance that perfectly complements the Genesis brand. Whether you’re waiting for service or exploring new vehicles, the high-end feel of the space is relaxing and enjoyable.
Overall, thank you to the entire team for the exceptional service. Finding the right combination of good people and a good company isn’t always easy, but this dealership has it down perfectly....
Read moreLet me start by saying this: I will not purchase from Peoria Genesis again. From the beginning, it was not an great experience. I was sold a faulty vehicle, to no knowledge of my own. The sales individuals knew this car had issues however did not disclose or present these in the carfax paperwork. I do partially take responsibility because I as a female went in alone to “look” and should have known better and brought my dad or boyfriend or brother or something. So, as I was getting ready to drive off the lot with my new vehicle, I noticed it was on half a tank. When I asked the salesman if he could top it off, he instead said there’d be a “note” to fill it up next time I bring it in for a service. It was the end of the day, so I let it go and said sure. Well, I had the car for about 7- 10days. The car alarm would randomly go off throughout the day/night. The driver car door sensor would go off saying it was open would randomly go off while I was driving. I called myself instead of going through the salesman and the service tech asked if I was made aware of “this cars history “ and, to my surprise, I was not aware there was already a history on this car. He told me to bring it in. My car was there for 5 weeks. I was extremely grateful they provided me with a loaner but it was such a disappointing experience. You are looking forward to you new car and for all this to happen almost immediately after. I just felt inconvenienced and frustrated, and at this point I just wanted my previous car back. I never had not ONE single issue with it. Anyway, when I went to pick up my Genesis GV70 after 5 weeks, they stated the car passed every test with flying colors. Well I got in, they still didn’t fill up the tank, but I’m over it at this point, because I was happy to have my new car back. Well, lucky me, I get to take my GV70 back for another servicing (after 2 weeks of it passing every test) because now there’s a leak somewhere in the front towards the passenger side.
