I have been going to Sweet Cece’s since they were under the old ownership. I have always loved the atmosphere and the yogurt and toppings are good. This Saturday night, I went at 9pm. My cousins were in town and we wanted to get a sweet treat. We walked in, no employees greeted us. Normally whenever I walk in somewhere and I am not greeted, I don’t think much of it because they might not have seen me come in. However, when I walked in here, the employees stared directly at us, but did not say hi. We got our yogurt and I paid with card. My cousins tried to pay with cash, to which the employees responded, “We are not taking cash at this time.” When I paid with card, they turned the tablet around for it to display the questions to ask for a tip, so I knew the tablet was working. I could clearly see the employees counting the drawer. When I went in, it was 9 and they closed at 10 because it was a Saturday. I work in food and even if it is fifteen minutes to close, if a customer pays with cash, we will just recount the drawer. If they want to count the drawer an hour early and not accept cash then, there needs to be a sign on the door or something. What if someone had gotten their yogurt and they try to pay with cash and have no way to pay when they are denied? That is money lost for your company just so they can leave right at 10. While we were sitting eating our yogurt, we were watching how the employees interacted with other customers. They did not greet anyone or ask anyone if they would like to try a sample of something. One employee, caucasian girl with brown hair and a tattoo on her forearm, had her elbows rested on the counter, rubbing her eyes tiredly. Doing this is front of customers is completely inappropriate and if I was the person she was checking out, it would have made me feel like the biggest inconvenience ever. The other employee was shorter, also caucasian with brown hair. I also noticed they were closing up. They were emptying the trash cans and taking the nozzles off the yogurt machines. Not only were they closing in front of customers trying to enjoy their yogurt, they were doing it in an incredibly loud way. This made me feel like they just wanted us out so badly. We decided to leave because it just felt plain awkward. When we went to throw away our yogurt cups, they told us we had to throw them away outside. There was still at least 30 minutes until they closed. They need to know that they can’t be completely closed, ready to leave, when there are still customers coming in and going out. I have never had such bad service coming to Sweet Cece’s, but if this is how the service is going to be from now on, I will not be coming back and I will...

How sweet is Sweet CeCe’s? It’s delicious!
Sweet Cece’s is one of many Fro-Yo places. If you don’t know what that it, it is a frozen yogurt place. These have seemingly popped up in a lot of places in my area as of the last few years. Most of them have been great, but Sweet CeCe’s is the best I’ve had so far.
The way these places operate is that you have free reign of what they offer. You grab the size of the cup that you want. Start adding Fro-Yo til you are good. Then there is the topping chutes and a small buffet of more perishable toppings, such as gummies.
From what I remember, they also offer baked goods. So if you have a super active sweet tooth, you could get some sprinkled covered Fro-yo and some baked goods to scratch that itch.
My favorite thing about this place is the giant chutes of toppings. If you see in the photos below, there is a spot where you can choose from a ton of toppings. The inner child in me was super happy to see those!
I wish I had more to say about this place, but I don’t remember too much and we weren’t here too long. I am sure I will go back at some point. That sweet tooth...
Read moreFor those who step through Sweet Cece's doors for the first time it is like Candy Land comes to life. The impressive display of candies, cereals and other goodies catch the eye's attention immediately.
The staff is polite and match the bright and colorful atmosphere with their sunny and helpful smiles.
But of course, one cannot forget the frozen yogurt. It is delicious and the flavors change often so there is variety. The flavors are always interesting and I find myself trying all of the flavors before picking one.
Although, one must be careful. The price of the yogurt is by weight. (Unless you get the flat rate cup.) It is quite easy to be carried away by all the goodies to put on top and then find out that you're paying for an $8 frozen yogurt.
But all in all, Sweet Cece's is a fantastic frozen yogurt place. Perfect for a Saturday afternoon outing in the summer either by yourself or with your friends. So stop on by and have...
