Absolutely terrible experience. I've been going to this best buy my entire life, never had any problems. This past week our TV went out, so we had to buy a new one yesterday, my mom is disabled so we decided to order it online after she looked through all the ones they had and I would go out and pick it up. We found one, ordered it and was told we would receive an email when it was ready in about an hour (it was about 1pm) I decided to just leave and be there at 2 so I could get in and get out. I get there, ask one of the guys at the desk about it, he told me that my name needed to be on the order for me to pick it up, makes sense, but it never gave my mom an option. The second problem I was told that they didn't even have the TV because their warehouse lost power and they didn't get their truck. My mom called after that, and they said that they themselves would go pick it up and it would be at the store that night. Today my parents called and they were told that they had actually sold the TV right after we ordered it online. AND the warehouse lost power so another one of the TVs that we ordered wouldn't be there until Friday the first. It seemed like no one knew what they were doing and they were not communicating with each other or us at all. Super unprofessional on their part. We don't care that we can't watch TV, we do care that we paid these guys $600 and they've done nothing but lie and make false promises. I will no longer be going here and I'll be using my hard earned money somewhere else. (Not like it matters they make plenty of money) but before you buy anything online here, call multiple times to make sure they still have what...
Read moreI was shopping for a new TV and found open box TV one day and then came back two days later to purchase and it was $125 more than the 2 days before. And they said there was nothing that they could do, they get marked up and marked down like that even on clearance open box.
Everyone was really nice about it but poor customer service on bestbuy part to mark up and mark down open box itemâs TV and not honor the original price open box clearance price. Just goes to show companies like this Mark stuff up just to mark them down to give the illusion of some sort of a sale.
The manager made a comment that he was interested in buying it because it was an open box that was also on sale however nothing about an extra sale on top of the open box was displayed. It seems like this is more beneficial to the employees that work there who get first dibs on sales and open box merchandise instead of customers.
I drove quite a distance just to find out the TV was $125 more than a couple days before for no reason. Waste of my time when they couldâve just sold it to me for the original price considering it was just two days ago.
I canât express how disappointed I am with bestbuy! If someone wouldâve expressed to me that the open box TV was also on sale the first time i seen it, I just wouldâve purchased it that day instead of waiting for my day off on Wednesday. But the salesman didnât even mention they were having a sale. He just said it was an open box TV.
I own my own business and I would never treat a customer this way, especially when theyâre standing there with money in hand, ready to...
Read moreIf I could give the Geek Squad Premium cell phone protection a negative rating, i definitely would. We were up sold the plan when purchasing a phone as the service was marketed as a no hassle service with a guaranteed Samsung factory repair and/or replacement if the phone became damaged for drops, spills, cracks, water, and even theft. Paid $250 for the plan on our galaxy s8. Well, the phone became damaged and still under warranty. The "no hassle" is an utter joke! Nothing but a hassle and run around through the automated system. Then...it's a refurbished phone that is sent out at a cost of an additional $160 and a measly additional 30 day guarantee. That shouldve told us something! The refurbished phone didn't work well from the get go. Took it back to the store. They got the phone working.... for about a week. The S8 is marketed as water resistant. Apparently not the refurbished phone though. The phone fell in water for literally less than 2 seconds and was immediately retrieved and dried. Complete phone failure! Took it back to the store as the original phone warranty hadn't expired and the 30 day phone warranty hadn't expired. Guess what? Best Buy can't help! Not unless we pay ANOTHER $160 for ANOTHER lame refurbished phone! Biggest gimic ever! My recommendation, do not purchase your phone or the protection plan from Best Buy! They are happy to exchange substandard customer service for your hard earned cash! Taking my business elsewhere from here on out. Sams Club actually provided a better price and better protection plan that, was much more...
