I came here to let everyone know I had the BEST service I've ever received in a phone store in my life in your Total Wireless Milan Ave. Sandusky Ohio location.
I was a long time customer of Verizon and decided I would be switching services because of price and poor practices. I've only had a few interactions with Verizon employees in those 12 years and none matched the fantastic service from Franco at Total Wireless. If he is not the Manager at that store, he should be.
I found, not only as a customer, but as a business owner myself, extreme value in him as an employee. As a customer I appreciated his kindness, how knowledgeable he was on everything, and he got us in and out and activated 4 lines and had numbers transferred in under 30 minutes.
As an owner/manager of my own business I greatly appreciated the fact he was able to casually but effectively up-sell me on merchandise, made the transfer as smooth as possible, made us feel welcome and appreciated as new customers, took care of 6 other customers in between. I walked into the store some what anxious figuring it would be an ordeal, but I left the store confident in my every decision. He was amazing!
He was working the shift with just himself; what most would've considered a stressful busy situation, and he was cool calm and collected. Try calling the Philippines based "I happy be to help today for you" English as a 302nd language trained staff of outsourced wonders try their best to help, transferring you, then dropping calls, then apologizing, then transferring you, dropping calls . . . Get the picture? The two cell towers they have get excellent reception if the sky is crystal clear and there are not any birds flying in the area to disrupt the signal. Oh, and the Total Wireless plan that used to be a deal is maybe five dollars less than major companies, so check out their plans and get a company that has help based in the U.S. In other words, probably a great store working for an outsourced company that is impossible to drop once...
   Read moreI purchased a phone at a local department store and it did not have a sim card with it, so I purchased another sim card. Customer service activated my account but my phone would not work. I tried for 3 days to get service as my service date was dwindling away. Then they tell me I purchased the wrong sim card and that I had to order 1 online through them. Not feeling comfortable giving them my debit card info. I called the Sandusky store to see if I could purchase the correct sim card there rather than online. The gentleman said yes so I told him I would be there the next day. He called me back and within 20 minutes he had my phone working. He went above and beyond to make sure the customer was satisfied.
