It's a great place to look around. Personally, I get the most value from the candles (love Yankee candles, do not love Yankee prices) and the books. The books are a total grab bag, but I've picked up some winners. Also, excellent prices on memo-sized notebooks with fun covers, which are a weakness of mine. In the food section, there are sometimes fun snacks, as well as surprisingly well-priced bulk spices (having bought a few, they're not the best quality, but they're a good value for the price). Hair care/color is usually a good bet, too, but do some comparison shopping, first. Sometimes they're even cheaper at a conventional store (provided you're willing to look up coupons).
It's a grab bag of products, though, so watch out for duds. I have bought a couple of those, but I think overall the number of good finds balances that out!
Mostly, the store is super friendly and relaxed, but I have had at least one cashier almost militantly insist on getting my Ollie's account number, and get super pushy when I didn't want to sign up for one. That was honestly super...
Read moreI like this store. Really good buys on books, coffee k-cups, garden pots, and you never know what bargain you may find. You really need to join Ollie's Army to receive extra discount coupons in the mail. It's free and you get a card to use to build up points for even more discounts. Just be careful if you decide to buy any food items. Check the exportation dates. Some products maybe quite old. The customer service is not the best. They seem short staffed. Usually when they get busy, expect to have a long...

STOP in & shop there sometime! You'll be...
