MISSION BBQ — Restaurant in Perry Hall

This is my favorite place to get food . I come here MULTIPLE times a week (ALMOST every day haha). And spend hundreds of dollars here. And let me tell you, its SOOO WORTH IT LOL. The food is ALWAYS ALWAYS ON POINT ... its soo good . I recommend this place to everyone I know . I tell them all to come here lol! But most importantly their staff is top notch !!! Every body is so welcoming and friendly . Some of them know me by my name now and are super nice . Mickayla is just wonderful and a few others I would like to shout out but not sure on all names. Im going to find out their names and come back an update my review ! They do their job so well. You get served really fast and they run like a well oiled machine . They did an amazing job with who they hired and with training them . I've never loved and enjoyed a restaurant (food & STAFF) as much as I love this place . They're doing EVERYTHING right. A+++++++++++ from me ! If you've never been here.. you are missing out BIG TIME . moist brisket is my GOTO. All their sides are good especially the cheesy potatoes. And their shrimp black plate specials are fantastic!

P.s. bring back HONEY BUTTER for ALL YEAR ROUND not just seasonal. That's the only thing I suggest. Pretty please :)

Edit: This place is still awesome. Everyone does such a great job ! But one recommendation for the owners. I am so tired of puddinggggg. I am praying after the banana pudding you come out witha good dessert. The past 2 have been disappoint :( I need my cobblers...

Before I comment on the food let me start by saying my wife and I tried Mission BBQ 3/17/14 in York PA for the first time and were very impressed with how clean it was as soon as we walked in. From the moment you walk in the customer service is spot on! The cashiers offered samples and take orders with smiles on there faces, no small task in todays market. While I waited on my food another employee took a moment to tell me about the company and the fact that there are no freezers or microwaves in the kitchen because all the food is fresh! But one employee named Jackie made this our new favorite place. She was working the floor making sure our experience was perfect and offering to refill drinks etc. She was not only pleasant but when we engaged her in some lite conversation she was like talking to an old friend! Almost every other restaurant in York County could take a few tips on hospitality from this young lady. Aside from the wonderful experience of meeting Jackie the food was 5 stars as well. If you ever watch those bbq cooking shows and think you wish you could get food like that near where you live, well if you are in York county PA you can now! Honestly when you learn about the company, try the food and meet the great staff you will agree that 5 stars is not enough to rate this wonderful restaurant. I wish them the best. From the moment my husband and I walked in we were greeted with a very cheerful staff saying hello, the atmosphere was warm and inviting Mr. Bill goes beyond his job to make you feel that southern hospitality, and to make you feel welcomed. The food is amazing when I tell you amazing. It is a Maisie, real authentic barbecue place like and the store is amazingly and immaculately clean. I even noticed that the soda machines are clean with no spots or mold on it or in the nozzle very clean. The whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable, very helpful and willing to do everything in their power to make you happy we were fortunate enough to be there by 12 PM when they did the national anthem and saw the whole staff come to the front everybody in the restaurant stood and acknowledged the national anthem. It was a great feeling. I think that the staff was carefully selected by the owner. And manager because this is one special staff, you don’t get this kind of service in other restaurants around here. It or anything of that nature they actually act like they like their job. And I think they deserve something really good from the owner and the manager because we wound up ordering Thanksgiving dinner before we left. The young lady that helped us do the ordering for Thanksgiving. Dinner was extremely helpful informative, and if she didn’t know something she went to find out I made it easy for the process...
