I went into the lima ohio cracker barrel and ordered a Uncle Herschel breakfast, the waitress told my wife and I that they do no have the uncle Herschel anymore on the menu and suggested an alternative to the Herschel. It was ok but not great like the breakfasts use to taste. I heard that some college woman has taken over overseeing the entire restaurants now and has changed the menu, changed the food taste and have stream lined the menue down to her satisfaction disregarding the publics demands and opinions. To heck with this woman know it all , fire her and go back to like it was before her. Her ideas are like modern day libs that have ideas that just are not worth a puppy's sausage. If you buy a day pass you should be able to go in and out of that fair as many time as you want with that day pass bracelet. I have never heard of such a rediculus thing before. What's the point of a day pass. And the prices just to get something to drink there is nuts $8 for a lemonade. And $10 for a small bucket of fries. 3 years ago a bucket of fries was only $6. Shame on poor jacks for price gouging like crazy. I'd rather save the money and get a season pass and Kings island and have a better time for a week on vacation. I don't go to the fairgrounds for the fair, but I do go to the flea market/gun show. Now, the people at the gun show are amazing people, very friendly, knowledgeable, and compliant to state and federal laws (as well as city snd county). But thr fairgrounds itself could use a revamp.

The buildings are old and need some work. They're in the same way they were when I last went to the ACF, in 1997. I know they make lots off of the fair, truck rallies, gun shows, and the like, I'd put some in on upgrading the lot, buildings, restrooms.
