Worst resturant in Lima. Have had problems getting the correct meal served to me on 3 different occasions over teh years. Iced tea dumped done my back another time. Tonight was the last straw.

Absolute worst dining experience I have had in 10+ years tonight at the Lima Red Lobster. Took my family there for endless shrimp this evenng. They told us it would be 30 - 40 minutes for a table which was fine for us as one of our sons was still making his way to Lima. We planned it that way. Get our name in and we would be ready to be seated when he arrived, It took over an hour to seat us "because we had 5 in our group." Odd thing was a party of 5 came in 15 minutes AFTER we did and were seated 15 minutes BEFORE we were. I KNOW they came in after us because I watched them come in the door and then moved over on the benches in the waiting area so they could sit down. Gets better... While there various members of the kitchen staff come out and greet / hug / chat with members of the other party of five. The teeny bopper hostess steadfastly maintained the other party arrived before we did EVEN AFTER THEY ADMITTED WE WERE SITTING THERE WAITING WHEN THEY ARRIVED? Absolutely infuriated me. After that lie, a manager lied to us about our table being ready - she originally told us the people were checked out and preparing to leave only to come back 10 minutes later to tell us they were getting ready to check out and we would be seated shortly. This after having waited for over an hour. This when they could have moved two tables together to accomodate us. Might even had set a chair at the end of a booth. Yeah... we stayed. Wasn't going to leave and go somewhere else to stand in line for another hour. The wait staff and servers were GREAT. Management and the hostess should be fired immediately. I will NEVER visit that Red...
Read moreRed Lobster is one of my most favorite restaurants and as such I always enjoy my meal no matter where in the country I am. However this time was a totally different experience. My husband brought me in during Crabfest. First my asparagus was very overcooked and then I had the meat out of my last king crab leg setting on one of the platters because I was full and waiting for a box. My waitress even reached for the platter and said oops there's still crab there and walked away. A few minutes later while I was waiting for a box my waitress came by and scooped up the platter. We tried to get her attention to let her know I still wanted my crab. Another waitress tried to catch her and wasnt able to. Finally she came back and I explained to her what happened and she said she was sorry and she could get me some more crab if I wanted. When she finally brought the bill my husband handed her his card due to a screaming child and the fact I had a really bad headache. Afterwards we looked at the receipt only to realize they charged me another $19.99 for the crab they brought me after she threw away my crab. Especially frustrating to 2 senior citizens. I did leave a small tip however it wasnt earned as someone else had to bring us our food, boxes and she never offered any refills. I will NEVER return to the Lima Red Lobster again. What a totally unacceptable way to treat a customer. I couldnt find a waitress or manager to complain so maybe I should just find a different seafood restaurant...
Read moreThis was my first time ever at a red lobster, for 15 years my husband has been trying to get me to try it. The food was okay but our service was awful and the waitress wasn’t very friendly even though she tried her hardest to smile. I get everyone has a bad day. We were sat by a sweet young host girl who thanked us for waiting and told us she appreciated us coming in, she then told us that our waitress would be Kayla for the night. We sat for about 15 minutes or so before she even came to take our drink order. It then took her another 15 minutes before she actually brought us our drinks. We then ordered our food. We ordered the Crabby cheese fries as an appetizer which took almost 30 minutes to arrive to our table, and although they were good there was so much paper from the lining mixed into the cheese they were not edible. We then waiting 30-40 minutes for our food to come out of the kitchen. Upon paying our bill on the tablet provided at the table the waitress went to the kiosk they typically use to enter your food for the kitchen and started to complain to another server about her tip she had received while pointing at us. At that point we had to ask another server for to go containers because our waitress was no where to be found. We seen more servers sitting in booths on their phones than we seen actually waiting on customers or...
