Donaldson’s Crossroads — Local services in Peters Township

I've been going to this plaza for over 20 years and the only stuff that has changed is a few stores. I'm saying this because with the increasing popularity and population of this area this plaza could be made much more efficient than it currently is. The parking lot is an almost uncontrolled traffic accident waiting to happen.

Multiple stop signs with opposite right of way traffic that are not marked cleared or at all almost cause crashes every time I'm driving through it. The road markings and lines are faded to invisibility. The selection of stores is great, except for the fact that they forced out Gamestop that was originally an ebgames back in the late 90s and through 2000s.

So for my entire life I went to this plaza to visit my local game store, once it got kicked out, I now have to travel to the mall 20 to 25 minutes away for the next closest gamestop. I asked a few store owners about why they kicked gamestop out and the reason was "they were looking for more high end store fronts" what a load of bullocks.

There is a huge population of young people and teenagers, as well as young adults who game in this area, to say that is to say there are no gamers here. I had to take a star off, not because of anything Giant Eagle or its' employees could do differently. The store is lovely, well stocked and organized, and clean, and the employees are friendly and helpful. The minus points come from the entitled, rude clientele in this store. I HATED my experience because of them. I tried not to let them bother me, but by the time I got to the parking lot I just wanted to scream. Businesses in wealthy areas have rude, wealthy customers. I won't go back to this store if I can help it. ...

Update: the parking lot attendant here is so lovely! Young man with short black hair, he smiles & says "hello" & "have a nice day" every time I'm there! He helps people who look like they're struggling with groceries, he's always so pleasant! The staff here is so helpful! I had a heart attack in the parking lot on Jan 4th & they, mgr & staff, took such wonderful care of me until the ambulance arrived. They held on to all of my belongings & were very kind to follow up...
