I can't recommend Urbanowicz Jewelers enough! From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. It’s great knowing that our money went to a local business, and every time we walked in, the store was not only spotless but also welcoming. Even when it was busy, a staff member would always greet us and let us know when they’d be able to assist us. When my fiancé was looking for the perfect diamond for my engagement ring, Urbanowicz didn’t have one like it in stock, so Joe attended a diamond show to find the exact stone with the specs my fiancé wanted. Over several visits, Joe worked closely with my fiancé to customize the perfect engagement ring. After we got engaged, I heard how amazing my fiancé’s experience was at Urbanowicz Jewelers, and I knew I wanted to purchase our wedding bands there. We returned multiple times to select our wedding bands, and each time, Joe worked with us and was incredibly patient—even though I was very indecisive. My indecision dragged on for months, eventually putting us under a tight time restraint to get our wedding bands ordered and customized in time for our wedding day. Joe never pressured me to settle, but did advise me on how long the turnaround to getting the rings would take. I almost committed to a wedding band four times, but it never quite felt right. When I showed Joe a ring I loved online, he didn’t have anything like it in the store but happily offered to make some calls. Later that same day, he texted me two options that were exactly what I wanted, with all the details like pricing and carat weight. He ordered both rings to the store so I could try them on, and I picked my favorite choice the same day I tried it on. My ring arrived about a week earlier than I thought it would, and both wedding bands were here with plenty of time before the wedding date. Our experience was further elevated because Joe occasionally brings his dog to work and would chat with us about our own two dogs, making us feel more like valued customers than just a number in a big jewelry store chain. It’s a true reflection of Urbanowicz’s community-focused, local business atmosphere. Despite how busy the store always was, Joe always made sure to work with us and gave us clear time estimates of when he could help us. Another thing I really appreciate is the exceptional service when I bring my ring in for cleaning. One time, when Joe wasn’t working, a staff member took the time to inspect my new ring thoroughly, ensuring the stone wasn't loose prior to cleaning. Every time go to Urbanowicz Jewelers for cleaning, my ring looks as new and shiny as the day I got engaged. For anything jewelry-related, I will only take my business to Urbanowicz. Sadly I would not recommend this store to anyone. 8 years ago we went there for wedding rings. My future husband found one he really liked but I didn’t see anything that would match my small but custom made engagement ring so no biggie. But the owner instantly took a demeaning tone with me when I didn’t see something I wanted to buy but kept professional with my husband. When the owner walked away my now husband said I won’t give him a time for how he talked to you.

Recently I needed a small repair and thought ugh that was long ago who cares I’ll just go back because they are so close to me BAD MOVE. I ended up spending a lot of money on a small custom job and it didn’t turn out as discussed. The lady there had me wait to speak to the owner who was being super polite to a man a few feet away. When he came over, the owner, once again could not have been more rude. Condescending & Rude to a woman again. Great. I paid for my piece because the women in that store are all very nice and do not deserve that but the owner will never get a dime from anyone I know again! But what makes it worse is that his rude sexist behavior ruined the excitement of a very special piece for me. I spent all I was capable of to make this happen for my husband and that store took the joy and excitement of me spending that kind of money for something special right away! Now I’m just wishing I would have learned my lesson...

Loved it here! Stopped by on New Years Eve with my mother to look at rings. I have been looking to get a ring for myself for about a year and a half, and finally decided to go in person after searching fruitlessly online. Went to another local family owned and operated store first, and was unimpressed with both the selection and staff behavior. Was completely blown away by the difference between there and Urbanowicz. While the other store's jeweler seemed judgemental of my decision to buy a ring for me, the woman who assisted me and my mother was super supportive and very sweet! Waited on us very patiently even though we came in about 15 minutes before they closed for the holiday at 2 o'clock. Didn't feel rushed at all. Only came in intending to peruse my options, and very quickly decided to purchase a stunning citrine ring for a very reasonable price because of how impressed I was.
