Read moreWould not recommend going to this store (mcmurry). Cashier is very rude. Went to return something that did not fit correctly. Was accused of returning worn items because a piece of my har was on it. I have long dark hair obviously I lose some. She held up the article like it was infected and said we should return because it's been worn. We'll obviously you have to try something on to make sure it fits. She then told me that I would have to do store credit and after talking to customer service you can return if you have your tjmaxx card that it was purchased on. She then proceeded with the return(I had agreed to store credit because I frequent tjmaxx). She asked for my license which I gave her. She threw a card at me told me I had to swipe it for the return. I told her she could hand me the card instead of throwing it at me. She then threw my license the store credit card and receipt at me and walked away. This is not way to treat customers. If these are the employees they hire they have issues. I serve so I try to be as nice as I can while dealing woth anyone in the service industry but this was ridiculous. All because she would have had to look it up with the card and not just scan a receipt. Well! this store...
Read moreSo sorry to say: went in to Peters/Crossroads TJ Maxx to purchase eyeshadow and possibly foundation and was treated like a criminal. Was followed so closely by fitting room attendant that I was actually uncomfortable. I actually would have purchased more then the $50 I spent; but because of unjust profiling.....was specifically intending to purchase more Too Faced cosmetics. Just because someone doesn't dress like something out of a fashion glossy and likes to inspect their merchandise prior to purchasing does not mean they are stealing. Their Health and Beauty products clearance isle is a mess and you DO have to inspect every product lest you purchase a gnarled lipstick or shadow that is broken. I will NEVER shop here again. Train your employees. Or have makeup behind a counter & pay at counter. I'll go to Marshall's at Crown Center where I've always been treated...
