One star review because of an employee Robert J for not knowing how to do his job and trying to throw me out because I asked for his bosses name. So I was in your store 407 on wed June 26th at 745pm. This is my home GameStop I do all my shopping at. I always have an issue with an employee named Robert J. So I came in with a phone to trade in and Robert immediately gave me issues about trading in the phone. We don’t have enough cash before looking in the drawer. His co-worker said no we have enough. Then Robert J didn’t know how to use the system and had to call to get assistance. The system worked fine as it took him 5 times processing the trade. Now it’s 830 and he says no the system doesn’t work and procedes to tell me he can’t trade in the device after playing around for another 15 mins he says that I have to come back tomorrow. So I ask him for his name and he flips his name tag around on camera so I can’t see. Then when I tell him I know his first name is Robert he flips it back because I already saw the name. So I ask for his bosses name and he doesn’t want to give it to me. So after 5 mins of me saying I’m not leaving until he gives it to me. His co-worker tells me his bosses name is Adam and his store number is 407. But the best part is after he gives me the info I was asking for he kicks me out and says I’m not allowed to do business at their location. I said you can’t kick me out cause I want to file a complaint. He says no imnkicking you out cause your yelling at me. I said I’m yelling cause your kicking me out. I have never had an altercation at any GameStop. I have a game pre ordered for Friday and I’m going to pick it up because I already paid for it. He is not going to not let me pick up my game for my child. I’m seriously thinking about only doing digital downloads from now on or shopping at Walmart. I have been a game stop customer since before they were GameStop and I spend a lot of money with GameStop. This is uncalled for and unacceptable. I would appreciate a call back from a supervisor. Read moreUnfortunately, I wish I could give a zero but I was forced to give a star. This is by far the worst GameStop I have ever encountered. I don’t know where GameStop finds its employees but they need to take it serious if they want to keep their customers. For starters on numerous occasions this store never opens on time and seems to always close early on top of closing for lunch. The employees are very incompetent and very unprofessional. To start there’s a manager named Ish, he doesn’t know how to speak to customers. Managers always find a way to help a customer especially to make sure your customer is happy and will return for another visit. He speaks as if he’s from the streets, his pants kept falling, he wore his AirPods and held a conversation on the phone while helping customers. Told the customer there was nothing he could do when a customer had a warranty. Next, Ashley has no knowledge in products or how to operate the system. She was also on FaceTime while assisting customers. There was kids running around in the store playing hide and seek. What kind of establishment allows this. This location is going down the drain. Read moreStood in line for nintendo 3ds Friday only to finally be let in and told they were sold out. Only had 3 consoles available and 2 of them were bought by employees. The first guy in line luckily got one. They didn't even announce they were sold out they continued to let the next two customers ask for one. The second customer told us they were sold out. Half the line left since that is why we were all there. I wish they just would of been upfront with us while we were standing there. I am not upset that they only had 3, I know that is not in their control, or that they sold out ,or that 2 employees bought them leaving 1 left to the customers waiting. I am annoyed that they let the employee who wasn't working that morning in the store before everyone who was waiting and we got to stand and watch her cut the line buy her 3ds and leave.
