It just had this notification in their window saying they closed. I don’t know how hard it is to just send all of us who’s already made an appointment with them an email notifying us before the us leave our place and took a Uber spent 40$ to get here?!! And now I’m standing in anger, surprise, denial and THE STORM while waiting for my Lyft home, and yet that will cost me another 30-40$ and another 10 mins waiting in STORM. I just don’t understand why can’t they just send the email??!! I’m cold, freezing, and angry. I even took the day off from work for this. So confused! Many people came here only to find this office is closed and they have to drive back home now. I have weak immune system and waiting in the storm for ten minutes can have bad consequences for me. And I’m still financially struggling as a person who just started their own life here recently. This travel cost ( which is in vain now) is certainly a burden to my life especially this month. And I believe I’m not the only one in these situations ended up in front of this closed office door…… I truly believe the office should show more respect to people and pay more attention to those who make an appointment with them about their...
Read moreI went here for my Biometrics appointment yesterday. The place has ample parking spots on the front, sides and back. There was hardly anyone in there - couple of people sitting. I thought I had to wait but not at all. A lady promptly and very nicely greeted me as the check-in guard had to go on a break for lunch. Then met another lady and finally the lady who did the biometrics. Everyone was super polite, friendly and efficient. They were laughing, and easygoing. Everyone followed the COVID-19 rules as well. I had gone prepared with mask and the documents needed. Super fast: I was finished with biometrics in 5-6 mins total. Also arrived early and they still took me in right away. I do have a grievance for the women’s restroom: the toilet paper is so thin that you cannot take it out without using two hands- all of us in there were struggling and spending 2x the time there. Please use better quality paper USCIS - at least two ply or a better single ply quality. This is definitely the thinnest single ply toilet paper...
Read more17/09 - I arrived half an hour early in the morning after two hours drive. The building was quiet. At the reception desk, a very kind Latina staff member checked my paperwork and stamped my appointment letter for fingerprinting.
Tip: Bring your passport and your appointment letter. Even if you rescheduled, still bring your old letter just in case. Make sure you’ve already filled out the personal information on the second page of your appointment letter before handing it over. If your name is different from the one on your foreign passport, bring your marriage certificate as well. This will save you time.
After that, I just sat down and waited for another staff member to do my fingerprints. Everyone was very nice and patient with us. Once the photo, fingerprints, and signature were done, they gave me a comment card, and I was good to go.
Big thanks to the staff for their assistance! Wishing the best to everyone...
