Bi Rite Cold Cuts — Restaurant in Philadelphia

I'm not one to do too much complaining, but as a loyal customer, I've given this place a lot of business over the last several years, just to be treated poorly when I was in a jam, and needed to do a virtual zoom meeting for class. I was about to purchase some breakfast, until the owner said I couldn't stay the duration of the zoom meeting, which was just for a couple of hours, yet other folks were eating in their cafeteria area while engaged in reading a paper, doing computer stuff, etc. Mind you this was a virtual meeting (just myself present not bothering a soul). Anyway I'm done ranting. I won't be back here. I highly doubt there is anything in Bi-Rite Deli's policy that puts a time frame on how long you are to be in the store. So I guess they would object to a person purchasing $5 worth of items of food every hour if they happen to be there for 8 hours (Figuratively Speaking, but it's the concept). After this experience, I got a different perspective of the owner. I feel that he's just out for your money and the little superficial things like what I've mentioned get taken...

Do not purchase lottery tickets from this particular retailer. I had heard stories about deceptive practices here. Purchased tickets here for years and years and years… Finally hit for $1,000… They claimed they couldn't cash it despite having dozens of winning tickets photographed and taped up all over their display at the store. This is a small time outfit pretending to be big time. We did locate two better options for you in this very same parking lot. At the opposite end of this strip mall is an Acme store which is a lottery retailer and will pay out and also right next-door to the Acme is "Beer Baron" beer distributor who also are a PA lottery ticket and also said they would pay out. He said they have sold numerous $1000 winners and paid them out. Probably best to avoid...

This deli is currently under investigation for ebt/snap fraud. Be careful when purchasing with ebt card as they will wait a few days to run purchases on your card to make it seem as if it was not them. The owners face looked so stupid when confronted but dont worry your day in court is coming. I should have known better when I took the card and swiped himself on a reader I have never seen before.
