Inside Out Pizza — Local services in Philadelphia

An absolutely fantastic pizza spot. We had walked past months ago when I think this spot was initially starting. We were walking with pizza from another local place and the owner (I believe) was sitting outside and said "I bet my pizza is better" and offered my partner and I a slice each. It was simply one of the best pieces of pizza I have ever had. He was absolutely right. Incredible ingredients, amazingly fresh and don't get me started on the crust. We walked by a few nights ago and saw that they were open and we decided we would hit it on our way back for a slice. Unfortunately they were closing up when we returned. But those inside saw us looking and said "Come in! We have two slices left!" We jumped at the opportunity and walked away with two more of the best slices of pizza. Very good pizza. We got the margarita and loved it. The crust is incredible! Crunchy yet doughy. So much flavor. Square slices. The tomato was a little tart, which was perfect, and it was saucy (but not overtop). Perfect amount of basil and cheese. Sesame seeds sprinkled crust which was great bonus flavor at end. Would definitely go back. Happy to have on the Ave. Owner/chef (not sure?) brought the pizza out to us and told us it was one of the best he’s made, which was cute. And I’d have to agree, one of best pizzas...

Walked in randomly today because it looked good, and... wow.

This is must-eat pizza. In a right and just world, there would be a line around the block for it. (I'm glad there isn't, though.) Never had a crust like this, and the sauce and cheese are perfect. I'm a tough pizza critic, but this is dangerously close to a straight 10/10.
