The service was great and do was the atmosphere my waiter was attentive and nice the food was good for the most part the hotdog🌭 & corn 🌽 was exceptional but the nachos I didn't care for they were dry and soggy at the same time and the birria tacos were nasty and bland barely no cheese mines didn't have any cilantro or onions I thought that was part of the birria but I guess not there I also ordered guacamole and hands down it was the best I've ever tasted but the steak was over cooked it was dry b ut I returned it and they didn't change me the margaritas had a nice kick to them but the were so small and they charge 4$ for each flavor in a 4oz glass and it was premixed so it couldn't add extra simple syrup so I asked can I purchase some strawberry daiquiri and he said no now the reason im giving this establishment 3 stars is because when my check came it was over 300$ if this was just the price of my meal and taxes It would of been fine but they charged us for everything they are scavengers regular nasty salsa who does that and we ordered tacos and they didn't give us any with our meals they charged us for every little thing but remember they wouldn't let me buy strawberry daiquiri syrup smh then I was told I HAD to pat GRATUITY I b said I have to they said yes the GRATUITY came up to 50$ almost that's when my friend lost it and then found out GRATUITY is suggested and unless it's written in print somewhere on the door menus it's not mandatory so make a long story short we didn't have to pay GRATUITY So this place over all is a 3 ok food small servings drinks and plates good customer good atmosphere sevive but make sure u get a print out receipt of ur entire meal b4 u pay & remember GRATUITY IS NOT MANDATORY ESPECIALLY IF THEY DIDN'T NOTIFY U IN ADVANCE

I've tried this place at least 7 times since its been here. I am always irritated for having gone. To me, it is that below average place that costs more than it should that you end up getting dragged into going to for whatever reason becaus of convenience or a friend wanting to give it a try for the first time.

This type of review is almost worse for me to give than a 1 star... its a place that somehow stays open, occupying space that you would much rather see something else appear. Super disappointed given I love the restaurant group's other offerings - Royal Tavern and Triangle Tavern.

Today, it was yet another letdown. The restaurant was slammed for a street festival. I have to give them credit that I knew things would be jacked-up given the state of things on the ave. Unfortunately, I gave in to the wishes of my party who wanted to wait for a table here. The wait was declared as 25 minutes for a table, so we removed ourselves and shuffled in to the bar. Dev, our bartender, was very attentive and friendly. The food on the other hand, took 35 minutes to arrive. Additionally, my rancheros tacos had dry steak, potatoes that made it worse, and a heap of flavorless melted cheese sauce tucked between cold, stiff doubled-tortillas. I may have choked them down with a fake smile had this not been the 7th time ive been here and totally underwhelmed. I offered the plate back to the server. One person in my party was kind enough to offer me one of her quesadillas that she had. It was cold, soggy, and similarly flavorless.

I recommend for anyone considering this place to stick with Triangle or Royal. If you need your taco fix there are literally 3 better options within walking distance: Pistolas del Sur, Juana Tamale,...

i so badly want to like this place, the food is good & they have good options for people who are vegan, vegetarian or gluten free…

however, the times i’ve enjoyed most have been when i ordered for delivery…

the service here is absolutely off putting. i’ve been over 5 times & each time i’ve either been practically ignored or made to feel like i was a bother to everyone from the hosts, servers & bartenders. i hate to write this review, but the last visit truly turnt me off. i sat at the bar, thinking maybe a friendlier experience, & ordered a drink (which was good but not that strong for the $14 price) & chips/salsa… the chips were stale, i tried a handful hoping it was just one or two that was off, but it was the whole batch. after a few i pushed it closer to the bar to indicate i was done, but never did anyone come to check on me after i was handed my drink or food until it was clear i was finished the drink & then she only acknowledged me to try to sell me on another… instead the bartenders were constantly talking to each other, clearly glancing at then ignoring new patrons that sat down or leaving the bar & at one point i even saw them taking multiple shots together…

if i had better experiences with the service in the past i wouldn’t be bothered, but for the prices they’re charging i’d at least like to have mildly friendly service.. having been in the service industry i’ll always still leave a tip, but this is the only place i’ve considered not to & where it pains me to do so.. would rather just order from a qr code.. would probably have...
