Went here to sell my old camera equipment. Immediately felt profiled by one of the employees. They came off friendly but based off of body language & questions about “why?” I was selling it, made me feel as though they were questioning my integrity as if it was stolen. There was another customer in the store selling electronics and he was treated with an immense amount of respect. The guy helping me didn’t even inspect anything to see if it worked, or if it operated. Be weary of selling anything here because you potentially can get profiled and low balled. I’m not one to make things racial. They also made me sign stuff verifying that the camera wasn’t stolen but never made the gentleman selling his electronics that was being serviced at the same time as me sign anything before he left. The whole point of my trip here was that they would offer more than GameStop ( They do not) for anyone interested in the number I was Offered $100 on a good condition series x (GameStop cash trade $250.) $30 on a PlayStation portal (GS cash trade $60.) Offered $180 on a $899 laptop. (Best Buy $530 gift card) $20 on a $199 Xbox elite controller w/o charging block (GS does not purchase these) “Talked up”to $550 for all. If not for the fact that I needed the money for lifesaving medication immediately yes I would’ve very quickly declined. Nick helped my wife and I at the store with selling our Oculus Quest 2 for SUCH a great price!! Not only do people not really take virtual reality headsets due to COVID, but also mine was the older version so people don’t even really want that one anymore because the Quest 3 and 3s came out already.
