I went here (8 months ago) from this review. This place has NO structure! You can literally walk in the building. The door doesnât have a lock on it , itâs just swing open type of door. The lobby , ANYONE can just walk in which is scary. Sometimes thereâs someone at the front and sometimes there isnât. Iâm going to be straight up THEY NEED SECURITY IF THE PEOPLE FROM THE URBAN COMMUNITY WILL BE ENROLLED HERE. (And this is me being judgmental because I actually attended here). NOW , let me talk about the classroom structure..straight up there was none. The environment within the classrooms are clean and well ventilated and you will have what you need for your courses I will give them that. If you hold yourself to a certain standard DONâT COME HERE!!! I was verbally attacked almost everyday by people who didnât heal properly from passed traumas and decided that jumping into a classroom for better education was going to make them superior to everyone else there. This came from adults that came to class 8:15 in the morning and would decide to clique up and bully people over dumb stuff like having pencils or their books out. It got to the point where I didnât even wanna come into class anymore because I knew that was inviting myself into drama (even tho Iâm a flower on the wall type of person). Even helping out in the classroom was IFFYâ because I just wasnât sure. The instructors are the issue also they wanna âkeep things funâ but that never seems to go well that only opens up space for people to act âghettoâ. I will say this tho âpay attention to the loudest one in the room because thatâs the one thatâs bothered by silenceâ! If you do enroll here..you might be mixed into a classroom of individuals that are from the prison reform, welfare recipients or paid straight up cash believe me you can tell by the way they act. AGAIN ..if you hold yourself to a certain standard DONâT COME HERE if you do enjoy yourself because...
Read moreI am writing to express my deep concern regarding the treatment I have received from Mike Engler in RCE. Throughout the course of entire 9 months, I have consistently felt belittled, discouraged, and deprived of a proper education.
Mike Engler has repeatedly threatened to have me removed from the program, embarrassed me too many times in front of my peers, screamed at the top of his lungs giving unrealistic ultimatums. Wouldn't assign me to anything allowed me to sit in class for 3 weeks straight while not allowing me to participate in the program. Always brags about how his life is better then mines and how he is in a better position in life then I will ever be. These actions have created an unwelcoming and demoralizing learning environment for me, making it difficult to engage fully in class and hindering my academic progress.
Furthermore, Mike Engler has actively discouraged me from wanting to peruse a career in the electrical field. Despite my genuine enthusiasm and efforts. This behavior has not only diminished my confidence but has also deprived me of valuable learning opportunities.
I believe that every student deserves to feel supported and encouraged in their educational journey. It is disheartening to experience such negativity from a teacher who should be fostering a love...

The first half of the HVAC program had a real teacher, but the second half was a total joke. They stuck us with an unqualified guy who seemed high half the time, and we learned absolutely nothing. We begged academic advising and the director to fix it, but they did nothing.
They handed us worthless diplomas, made fake promises about career support, and then ignored every call and email. Years later, no one ever followed up. Thanks to them, I never even got into HVAC.
They take your money, lie to your face, and give you nothing in return. Youâll learn more and get further by starting as a helper/apprentice than wasting your money here.
Luckily i was able to get into management in retail (not what i wanted but canât complain ) and am pursuing a BS degree at a real school. Very saddened i never got the chance to get into this field. I also feel sorry for any of my fellow classmates who might have had the same trouble as I did...
